I have to admit that I’m a bit bummed that I can’t go to see New Moon tonight. I have been growling every time I see someone tweet how they are counting down the hours until they get to see it. I was so excited when EA sent me this New Moon parody that made me forget that I wasn’t going to see it.

The outtakes from the Entertainment Weekly photo shoot that was done with Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner are out. I don’t know why but I always seem to like the outtakes better. I am loving Kristen’s eyes in these pictures and of course Taylor looks so adorable.

This morning I wrote about the Entertainment Weekly cover with Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart and now I have pictures from the photo shoot. I am far more impressed with the photo shoot inside the magazine than the cover. It looks like Taylor and Kristen had the chemistry needed to pull these pictures off. Now, I wait until Tuesday when this issue arrives in my mailbox.

I figured for this post, a quote directly from the book “Eclipse” written by the incomparable Stephenie Meyer was fitting.
I’m a voracious reader, but I prefer classic literature, however, when Twilight Fever hit, I thought perhaps I should read it for myself, see what I thought about it. Surely, I rationalized with my adult mind, it can’t be THAT good, but I was wrong.
I adore the saga, I truly do.
Now, mind you, when I heard it was going to be turned into a movie, I didn’t know whether to be excited or appalled. It turns out, I’ve been a little bit of both, more than once, over the course of the last solid year and some change.
First, the cast is absolutely stunning, they’re all beautiful, but if I was to say I thought that casting was perfect for each role, I’d be lying.
However, now that they are set in those roles, they have become the faces of those beloved characters, the world over, and we all like them just where they are. The ONE role that was filled, I had no doubts about? Victoria/Rachelle … because she looked and sounded EXACTLY how I pictured she would.
It seems, though, that Summit Entertainment doesn’t seem to find themselves feeling that way.
They will be re-casting Victoria, (played by Rachelle Lefevre),her replacement? Bryce Dallas Howard.
You’re not alone if you just said “WHO?!” Okay, so she was in Spiderman..3 was it? Oh,yay. And, apparently, she writes? Have you checked out Rachelle’s list of accomplishments? Now, I’m not saying that Bryce isn’t talented, but no offense, I can write, (see! look I’m doing it now), I have also been in a commercial, so hey Summit, I’m waiting on my call for Breaking Dawn.

All of this was brought on because they cite scheduling differences, but it’s awfully funny that Bryce was cast immediately. I have my conspiracy theories, that I will spare you, because I’m sure you house your own. My advice? Email Summit, and tell them that changing cast mid saga is shooting themselves in the foot.
Will I go to the theatre to see any of the other movies? Nah, I think I’ll pass. Originally I thought, I’d purchase the rest of them, and leave them un-opened on my shelf, to complete my set. Now, I think I may not, because to do so, would be an injustice to Rachelle, on my part.

This is absolutely ridiculous, and honestly, if the movie flops, (Which it probably won’t,due to the popularity of the books, and the phenomenal following they have) they would deserve it.
Rachelle darling, we still love you.

UPDATE: Summit has released their counter statement to Rachelle, and personally, I think, I’m even more irritated with them, if that is possible. You can read it here BS. This isn’t the first time that Summit has made a poor decision, think back to the almost re-cast of Jacob Black. That sparked outrage, and hopefully their underhanded, back peddling actions in both cases will continue to do the same. If you want to be a reputable, respected company, you have to come harder than that, with something more mature, and intelligent than THAT statement guys. Honestly, you expect us to believe you JUST found out there may have been schedule conflicts on the 20th but she had been replaced by yesterday, which was the 28th by MY calendar, and yet you guys are the “woe is me” victims? Ha. Don’t make me laugh.

I’ve found another still from New Moon. This one is of Jacob (Taylor Lautner) and Bella (Kristen Stewart)  at La Push beach. I really think I’ll be crying easy through this movie since Jacob seems to always be staring at Bella so intensely. It’ s not fair to Jacob it really isn’t. And it seems they really have the feelings down for this part of the movie. I think that will make all of the difference.

I swore I wasn’t going to spoil New Moon for myself but I had to watch. These are the two clips that they showed at Comic-Con yesterday.

In the first clip it’s the motorcycle scene, one of the scenes I wanted to see, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is learning how to drive her motorcycle. And when she starts riding you can see Edward (Robert Pattinson) in the background. I was disappointed that you couldn’t hear his voice like she did in the book.  But at least you get to see him. OH YEAH! You also get to see Jacob (Taylor Lautner)  without a shirt.

In the second clip you see Bella and Alice (Ashley Greene) driving in Italy. It’s the part where Bella has to save Edward before he shows himself. She is running looking for him,  and then she sees Edward in the dark taking his shirt off. I was wondering why they would show such a pivotal scene but then…Bella screams and it fades to black. I got the shivers from this scene.

Here at TEN Gossip we like to give. It’s been a heavy day of New Moon stuff so we wanted to end the day with new New Moon wallpapers. An amazing person took the images from the New Moon web site and made these up into wallpapers so we could enjoy them.

I found this new still yesterday of Bella (Kristen Stewart)  & Alice (Ashley Greene) with Jacob (Taylor Lautner) in the background on the set of New Moon. Director, Chris Weitz is also in the picture. I didn’t realize that there was directions on the floor of the set! (You can see a bigger version of the picture below.)

Eclipse is set to start filming next month. I can’t wait to see the pictures from the set of that movie too.

The newest New Moon still has been released. And when I saw it I squeeed. Yes, I really did. The way that Jacob is looking at Bella drives me crazy! I am going to admit to everyone that I am becoming Team Jacob. I am sick of being in the closet about it because I can’t fight it anymore. There is so many things about Jacob that I admire…and through New Moon I know I will be cheering for him hoping he will finally get Bella. (That’s just like how I watch Titanic and hope every time that the iceberg doesn’t hit the ship. It never changes though.)

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have sure brought it for this movie. November come fast!
