Amanda Seyfried Brings On The Sexy For Esquire

Posted by taylor blue on March 14, 2010 | No Comments

Amanda Seyfried is growing up that’s for sure. In this photo shoot for the April 2010 issue of Esquire she shows just that. Amanda is taking over the world with Big Love, Dear John and Chloe. Here’s some of the highlights from the interview in the magazine:

On what she wants to do with her dog: “Most of the time I just want to go home and throw the dog a stick,” Seyfried says. “Can anything be more obvious than throwing a stick? I need to be needed.”

On being a BFF: “Well, I’m a BFF. I play a BFF. It’s what I do. I have an actual necklace from Jennifer’s Body that says BFF. That’s my role right there.”

On leaving Big Love: “I sacrificed six years in L.A. I did my job out here. I made the contacts and did the work I had to do. But I came here at eighteen. I’m out of here at twenty-four, and I feel lucky it wasn’t longer.”

On pictures getting taken of her: “I learned a long time ago that photographs are not theater. This is not acting. It’s pretending. I pretend I’m looking at a man who is looking right at me, a man who sees me as exceptionally clever and adventurous.”

Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried & Zoe Saldana Cover Glamour

Posted by taylor blue on March 6, 2010 | No Comments

Leighton Meester, Amanda Seyfried and Zoe Saldana are all covering the April 2010 issue of Glamour magazine. They choose Leighton as the ‘Most Stylish’, Amanda as the ‘Most Down To Earth’ and Zoe Saldana as the ‘Most Stylish’. Here are the highlights from their interview:

Leighton on what inspires her: “I’m inspired by fashion, sex and my friends. I love strong, awesome, hot women—Debbie Harry, Gwen Stefani, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna.”

Leighton on marriage: “If [marriage] was important to somebody I loved, maybe I’d think about it, but I don’t think that I’m the type. It’s not for me. I wouldn’t mind living together. [But] eventually I’ll have to get a separate house for my shoes!”

Zoe on her life: “I want to have more sex, travel more, drink more wine and love life.”

Zoe on woman: “I love women. I worship women. Don’t want to be any other woman but myself.”

Amanda on staying grounded: “Maybe people [in Hollywood] wear really nice clothes, and they drive really nice cars—but that doesn’t make me comfortable. And if I’m not comfortable, it won’t be part of my life.”

Amanda on being more glamorous: “A smoky eye and nice hair are not going to make my night any easier…. I have to feel good on the inside to look glamorous.”

Big Love Renewed For A Fifth Season

Posted by taylor blue on February 3, 2010 | No Comments

I couldn’t be happier to hear this news! Big Love has been renewed for the fifth season. They are saying that ratings are up 13 percent from last season. This season has been focusing on the Henrickson’s attempt to break into politics.

And even better Chloe Sevigny won a Golden Globe just this year for Best Supporting Actress. Chloe is my favorite character well besides Bill Paxton of course!

Chace Crawford Looking Dapper The 2010 Golden Globe Awards

Posted by taylor blue on January 17, 2010 | No Comments

Chace Crawford looked dapper on the red carpet at the 2010 Golden Globe Awards at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday (January 17) in Beverly Hills, California. I couldn’t figure out for the life of me why Chace was there…because I love him in this Dolce & Gabbana suit. But he was there to present an award.  He presented the Best Supporting Actress on a TV series with Kristen Bell. (Kristen is in Gossip Girl with Chace.) The winner of the award was Chloe Sevigny from Big Love. I am so happy she won. She is my favorite on that show!
