In my mission to find a Kellan Lutz of my own I found something else. A cardboard version of Emmett Cullen. I was talking with Kellan Lutz Online about how we needed one for every room. But I still think I could use this cardboard one while my real Kellan was away at work making movies. I am sure that he’ll be gone a lot since he’s so popular right now.
I can only imagine how I would find it comforting to see an Emmett stalking over me instead of an Edward. We all know that Emmett doesn’t have that stalker type quality in him. Edward does. Thinking of Edward watching me gives me the shivers…and not in a good way!
So what do you say Kellan? Buy me some cardboard versions of you until I can get the real thing?
Katie Cassidy was one of my favorite cast members on Supernatural. I don’t know if there has been a better Ruby than she was. But now she’s on Melrose Place. I haven’t been able to catch the show other than the first couple of minutes but it seems like she is rocking that show, just like I knew she would.
Here are the highlights of the interview in November 2009 issue of Saturday Night Magazine.
On her character Ella being ‘bi’ and how she plays her: She is “try-sexual,†meaning she will try anything. She is so open and so free, you never what she is going to do. I think it comes from a place where she is desperately seeking love and acceptance from everyone around her. She doesn’t let anyone see the vulnerability that is there. She definitely puts her guard up and protects herself at all times
On if she had any reservations playing that role: It definitely crossed my mind. I have to be ready to make out with women or have a threesome. I need to be ready for anything. It’s all part of the game though. Being an actor, a character might have an element or two that might be uncomfortable for you. But I’m not playing “Katie Cassidy,†I’m playing “Ella Simms†and that is a part of her. You have to be able to take on anything, and I was open to it. It sounds fun!
On if there was any funny on-set stories: It is a hard schedule. It’s a lot of hours. But, at the same time, I wouldn’t change it for a second. It’s exactly what I always wanted to do and I have the best job on the planet. I love it. I would never complain about any of it. As far as on set stories go, not really…I’m waiting for someone to fall in that pool. It’s very relaxed, everyone is sort of there to do their work and be done with it.
On starring in Nightmare On Elm Street (which also stars Kellan Lutz) and if making a horror movie is hard: As an actor, it is our job to know how to get there on our own. The director will relay to you what he wants, and then it is our job to bring it to the table and hopefully far and beyond. For me, its definitely draining emotionally, but it’s like running a marathon, you’ve got to be ready for those two months of your life. At the end of the day I’m so tired. I just go home and sleep, wake up and do the same thing over and over. But ultimately, in the end, it’s well worth it.
On how she spends her free time: I don’t have much, but I go to the gym a lot and exercise. I also spend a lot of time with my two best friends from growing up who are still here. We just hang out at home. We are kind of dorks, but we are fun that way. We hang out, we go to movies, we go shopping.
I talk about Vampire Diaries probably way too much these days but I can’t help it. I have a total crush on Damon (Ian Somerhalder). And while I was in YouTube earlier today I found this video of Ian explaining Damon a little bit further.
I think Ian was the perfect choice for the character. And even when they ask how much of Ian goes into Damon and he said that it kind of gets lost in there somewhere. I will enjoy watching Vampire Diaries a lot more next time.
It was announced today that Zachary Levi will be voicing a character in Walt Disney’s 3D musical-animation movie Rapunzel. Although we aren’t sure what character he is yet. They describe his character as being: a dashing bandit who finds himself on the road with the rebellious, teenage hair apparent.
The story will go something like this: The movie picks up with the princess, famous for her 70 feet of golden hair, after she’s been stolen from her parents’ castle as an infant and imprisoned. Now a teenager, Rapunzel escapes and goes on the run with a bandit as her captor pursues them.â€
The movie is set to be released in 2010. And I wonder if Zach will be singing. I have heard his singing before and it isn’t bad at all. I really hope he does!
It was revealed earlier in the year that Ed Westwick would appear in an episode of Californication. So we finally have the first look of Ed on the 2nd episode of the third season (which airs on September 27). Ed plays Balt, a college student at the university where main character Hank Moody (David Duchovny) is now teaching. And by the looks of the girl at his bedside it can’t be a hard job at all.
I admit I have been slacking on The Office watching but I might have to hurry up and catch up so I can finally watch Jim and Pam get married. John Krasinski and Jenna Fischer were seen on the set filming the wedding scene. I thought it was interesting that in the notes with the pictures that they were talking pregnancy rumors. This is what they said.
Jenna Fischer looked lovely as a blushing bride, but raised a few questions in her flowing gown. The actress looked a little wider through the midsection in her empire waisted number, and seemed to affectionately pat her belly quite often. That causes one to wonder if she and/or her character Pam is with child!
This could be a really good way to get people to watch the show too to see if she is pregnant. And now that I think of it I thought there was already rumors that Pam might be pregnant? I guess you will have to watch and I will have to do some catching up.
