The final movie poster for KICK-ASS has been released. The movie hits theaters on April 16th and by the promotion of the movie it looks like it will be kick @ss.

The synopsis goes like this: Kick-Ass tells the story of average teenager Dave Lizewski (Aaron Johnson), a comic-book fanboy who decides to take his obsession as inspiration to become a real-life superhero. As any good superhero would, he chooses a new name — Kick-Ass — assembles a suit and mask to wear, and gets to work fighting crime. There’s only one problem standing in his way: Kick-Ass has absolutely no superpowers. His life is forever changed as he inspires a subculture of copy cats, is hunted by assorted violent and unpleasant characters, and meets up with the costumed adventurer Red Mist (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) and a pair of crazed vigilantes, including an 11-year-old sword-wielding dynamo, Hit Girl (Chloe Moretz) and her father, Big Daddy (Nicolas Cage).

What I love about this movie is the whole fanboy/comic book thing. There should be more things that revolve around it. Heck with the vampires, bring on the comic books. (I am not so sure about the vampire part.)

April 16th is still a big far away but we finally get to watch a new longer KICK-ASS trailer. I am loving the way this movie is going and I need to go see it.

Nicolas Cage is so back!

We saw the poster for Hit-Girl the other day but now we get to take a closer look at her through this red band trailer widget. It looks like Kick-Ass has become one of those kick @ss movies that’s for sure. She may be little and look innocent but she is far from that…it doesn’t take too long to figure that out.

Finally, we get a chance to see what Red Mist played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse looks like in the movie Kick-Ass. I have been hearing that people aren’t too impressed with the posters. The person that came up with the movie title, Kick-Ass , rocks. Because really I am so excited I can actually say those two words together and it mean something well meaningful. These four new posters from the upcoming movie Kick-Ass were just released. The movie stars Nicolas Cage, Aaron Johnson and Christopher Mintz-Plasse. The movie hits theaters on April 16th, 2010.
