I swore I wasn’t going to spoil New Moon for myself but I had to watch. These are the two clips that they showed at Comic-Con yesterday.
In the first clip it’s the motorcycle scene, one of the scenes I wanted to see, Bella (Kristen Stewart) is learning how to drive her motorcycle. And when she starts riding you can see Edward (Robert Pattinson) in the background. I was disappointed that you couldn’t hear his voice like she did in the book. But at least you get to see him. OH YEAH! You also get to see Jacob (Taylor Lautner) without a shirt.
In the second clip you see Bella and Alice (Ashley Greene) driving in Italy. It’s the part where Bella has to save Edward before he shows himself. She is running looking for him, and then she sees Edward in the dark taking his shirt off. I was wondering why they would show such a pivotal scene but then…Bella screams and it fades to black. I got the shivers from this scene.
Surviving Crooked Lake is an indie movie that I think you should see. It comes out tomorrow (July 27th). I love movies where people have to look inside themselves to survive. I guess that’s how life is too.
Here’s the synopsis: In this sensual, intense, indie feature drama, a quartet of teenage girls embark on a canoe-and-camping trip with a slightly older male guide in the endless wilderness of the Canadian Shield. His younger sister Steph – who is desperately afraid of the water – is one of the campers. Shot in tight close-ups with a fluid camera that sees the landscape first as an embodiment of desire and second as a distortion of reality, Surviving Crooked Lake crackles with suspense and intrigue. It will leave you wondering about the mysteries of the adolescent heart and mind, the bonds of family, and to the looming influence of nature and landscape. Surviving Crooked Lake makes for an elemental example of the cinematic survival story, in the tradition of Deliverance and Open Water.
In these two exclusive clips from the movie you can see how the campfire sets up the tension in the movie. But then in the next one where they are cliff jumping (which I have always wanted to do!) you can see how they are a group. The scenery is stunning in this movie.
It’s New Moon panel day at Comic Con today in San Diego. I have been hearing endlessly about it on Twitter and now finally I think I have enough information to post. I was watching them post some things on Twitter about what was going on at the panel and here are some of the interesting things I noted.
-Kristen Stewart never rode on the motorcycle at all. (Darn, because that’s what I wanted to see.)
-Taylor Lautner did as many stunts as he was allowed.
-Chris Weitz said that Taylor did all the work while Robert Pattinson stood around the set and looked good. (Something like that was said.)
-They asked them what their favorite scene in Eclipse that they are looking forward to filming and they answered like this: Taylor answered the tent scene, Kristen said getting and being pregnant and Robert said the c-section and when she gives birth.
-Rob also said he would do another open mic night because it’s good for the soul.

Yesterday, pictures of Kellan Lutz were released in his new movie, The Warrior, who he is filming with Ashley Greene. Today, they have out a set of clips from the movie. I love the first one where Kellan kicks over a building with one kick. It has nothing to do with him being shirtless either.

Blood: The Last Vampire is hitting theaters on July 10th. And in anticipation of the movie another clip from the movie has been released.
The movie synopsis goes like this: From Samuel Goldwyn Films, Blood: The Last Vampire brings to life an English language live-action feature movie of the original Japanese anime feature film from a producer of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Hero. Gianna stars in the film as Saya, a 400-year-old demon-hunting vampire slayer working undercover in Japan for a secret organization, on a mission in the Vietnam War era. The cast also includes Koyuki, Michael Byrne, Colin Salmon, and Allison Miller. The film features stunt choreographed by Cory Yuen (Transporter 3, Red Cliff), is produced by Bill Kong and Abel Nahmias, with screenplay by Chris Chow.
I have to say that I have been nothing but impressed with the choreography in this movie. You can tell it has a Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon feel to it. See the clip and more stills after the jump…
I am getting really obsessed with ‘You Found Me’ by The Fray. And now ABC has put together a cool music video of past seasons (and maybe future scenes) with their music. I am really looking forward to Lost since I have been wondering all this time if Kate and Sawyer can get back together…..
