It’s been awhile since there has been a Jackie Chan movie out. I know that he’s awesome in movies and I can’t wait to see this one, The Spy Next Door. It is set to hit the theaters in January 15th, 2010. The unofficial synopsis goes like this: While babysitting his neighbor’s children, a mild-mannered guy winds up having to fight off secret agents after one of the kids inadvertently downloads a secret code.
See the trailer below. This movie stars Jackie Chan, Billy Ray Cyrus and George Lopez. It really looks like a fun movie!
I was just about done working on TEN tonight when I remembered I had two Comic-Con posts I wanted to do. But they are long and involve a bit of reading, and I’m not so sure I can handle something so heavy since it’s full of spoilers anyways. So I went to my Google Reader, which has become my best friend this week, and I was skimming through the blogs on there catching up on my reading there. I saw this post about Kevin Smith narrating the Bella/Jacob motorcycle scene for the second time today.
I had watched it earlier today and almost peed my pants because I like the way Kevin tells it, he makes it sound way more exciting. And two, WillowRaine talks about Kevin alot! So on that basis it deserves a post here.
Rachel McAdams was seen on the set of Morning Glory today in Bryant Park in New York City. This movie is a comedy so I can’t wait. I wish that there would be a Notebook 2. But of course that would never happen. I guess crazier things have happened.
I didn’t post yesterday I know. I’m bad. But it was Easter Sunday and I was busy stealing my kids chocolate eggs. Okay, that isn’t quite true either. I just wanted an excuse to post this cool comedy sketch from Moon County.
I have known them for quite a while. Well we call each other friends. I think they are funny. And this latest sketch they did was hilarious. I asked if they ate the Peeps after filming but they said they had used a fixative so the sugar wouldn’t flake off. (And then they fed them to their enemies.) I hope you like it as much as I do.
I know I’m a bit late posting my review of this movie. I’ve been really sick and now I’m finally feeling better enough to start doing my reviews. I have a bunch more coming so watch out for them. Zack and Miri Make A Porno really made me a big leery. I have never seen a Seth Rogan movie and I was sure I was going to hate it. I love comedy’s but I just wasn’t sure about this kind of comedy. I found myself laughing out loud alot and the romance in this movie was great. Who knew a Porno could be funny. The extras are even better with bloopers, deleted scenes and more. I must stress this movie is an R. A very R!
My two favorite characters in the movie had to be Justin Long who plays a hilarious gay guy and Kenny Hotz (from Kenny VS Spenny, one of the best Canadian shows EVER!) who just does a cameo in this movie. They both stole the show for me.
Here is the scene with Kenny that I just loved.
Zack and Miri Make A Porno is out now on DVD. You better get a copy!
