It looks like the creator of these Melrose Place ads took advice from the people that did the ones for the OMFG Gossip Girl ads. They used sex, sex and more sex to sell it. I know sex sells these days but I wonder if The CW uses too much of it. (Although, they can use those Winchester boys for as many sexy ads as they need to.)

I was going to say that I was writing the show off …but then I saw that Katie Cassidy is in it. I liked her on Supernatural, and was one of the only reasons why I tried watching Harper’s Island. But I’m not sure if I can handle what this new Melrose Place has set up. Constant sex…Do I need more of that on my TV?

The Vampire Diaries (which was written before Twilight) is coming to the CW in the fall. Just before Supernatural. Which is an awesome time slot for me. They released an extended trailer where we get to see both main characters Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder. I have been waiting to see how Ian would look in this show. I’m glad that he plays a mean vampire. He will for sure blow my expectations out of the water. I loved him in Lost so it’s great to see him back again.

The CW released the teaser trailer of its new upcoming show, Vampire Diaries. The show is based on the books and is about two vampires that fall in love with the same woman. I had been really excited to see what this actually might look like. I had heard so much about it and since it’s moving to the time slot before Supernatural I can easily watch it. (My Thursdays will be barren without ER next season.)

I  knew the actor Ian Somerhalder was in the show but I didn’t know Paul Wesley was. He was in that show Fallen, where he played a half-angel.

And you know it’s going to happen, how will this show be compared to Twilight? And how different are these vampires than the ones in Twilight? I know that is what interests me the most. I guess I will have to wait until the fall.

I never really noticed how long Blake Lively’s legs were until today. She was at the CW Upfront with her other Gossip Girl cast members today. I love the outfit she is wearing, it looks so summery.

Blake was telling Just Jared all about her trip to Thailand, India and Maldives that she went on, since she has had being on vacation from the show…

I stayed at the most incredible place in the Maldives called Soneva Gili and you have to take a boat to get to your glass-bottom hut in the middle of the water. It’s gorgeous! We actually rode elephants barefoot and washed them one-on-one in the river. It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. I got a painting that an elephant made for me and that is definitely my most prized possession. And some beautiful jewelry from India!

I would love to ride an elephant. They used to be my favorite animal growing up. I even bought a stuffed one when I was in Holland as a teen.

Chace Crawford was that the CW Upfront today. It was were they showcase all the shows they have and talk about them. And the only reason why I know is because I was following Ausiello’s (he works for EW) stream on Twitter. It was almost like being there. ALMOST!

I have to say though that I was getting used to seeing Chace looking so scruffy that I don’t really like this clean look now. I hope that Nate gets to have a little bit of facial hair next season.

Getting rid of ONE TREE HILL’S own, Chad Michael Murray, and subsequently Hilarie Burton. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????
Someone explain to me, preferably over at the CW network, exactly what kind of show you expect to have minus the two characters with the biggest story plot, that the other main characters all pretty much revolve around? Because, maybe I’m an idiot but I am lost here.
It has been cited that the reason,for letting Chad Michael Murray go is financial. I personally believe that, because to just say the the show is going another direction, or the Lucas/Peyton story had run it’s course would be complete, and total ELEPHANT MANURE, and you guys know it.
So, if it’s money, PAY HIM. You get what you pay for. Seriously.
If you say you can’t afford him, then how about making some budget cuts, he’s worth it. Stop having so many guest musicians/artists/bands, I mean, really, most of them are already well known, and you have to be paying out the *ahem* for them, so STOP IT. Put them on the soundtrack, we don’t have to see them.
We know what they look like. It doesn’t add to the show, and if it’s costing loads of money, and ultimately causing us to lose Chad and Hilarie then, who on Earth needs to look at the musicians anyway? Not me.
It’s not called “One Tree Hill Where We Are Really Cool, Because We Can Book Famous Singers To Perform On Our Show And Overpay them”.
Stop supplying coffee and donuts, switch to one ply toilet paper, whatever it takes, but the money CAN be found for him. Trust me on that one. Us normal people without millions of dollars in our budgets manage to pay outrageous mortgages, you can pay your stars. Simple as that.
Those of us that are loyal fans, tune in for the original cast. Mainly Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton Do you have any idea how many fans this show is going to lose because of this, or was there some kind of lobotomy class where you all lost the common sense part of your brains?
So, those of you that have seen or heard his reaction to this, are probably pissed at me, know what? Don’t care. He knows he’s good, he knows that he deserves this, that HIS character made this show.
I’d be good and pissed off too, if I got the axe because they couldn’t afford to pay me. Think of it this way, what if your boss said to you suddenly “Oh did you see, we have in building entertainment today, catered lunches by the finest chefs now, everyone gets a massaging desk chair and company car, but we can’t afford to keep you, so as of next week, you are laid off.” That would suck right? Yeah, thought so. Maybe they should cut some of the salaries of the people in charge of the show line-up over there at CW, because sometimes I wonder if they’re actually doing it or letting their kids have at it.
My 6 year old god daughter would KNOW better than to get rid of Chad Michael Murray.
Oh while you’re at it, do you guys plan on getting rid of Clark Kent on Smallville too? May as well, because well, who needs the actual main character in any of the stories? The supporting actors will step up and make it all worth watching, as we hit the lever and flush it down the toilet. Hear that? *Whooooosh* That’s what is going to happen to Tree Hill without Chad. Get ready for it. Oh and do you hear that *click, click, click* that is the sound as people by the thousands, change channels to other networks who have enough sense to keep the people that draw viewers in.
Chad Michael Murray, is, has been, will always be ONE TREE HILL without him, you have NOTHING. No matter how talented the other actors/actresses are.
I’m one loyal fan who will not watch one more episode, after he is no longer on, and I know I’m not alone.

The CW has released the Womanizer/Chuck Bass video for everyone to see. I think it is so perfect for Chuck Bass’ character. He is a womanizer through and through. Don’t you just love to hate him?

The second season of Gossip Girl is coming soon. (I even subscribed to a million movie channels so I could get the CW back. I think I’m addicted!) So here are the Season One bloopers that you will find on the first season DVD out next week.

It looks like the CW has stepped it up on their marketing for this season’s Gossip Girl. They are hot ads…BUT, then I remember that the viewers of this show are at least 12 years old. WTF is up with these parents? I will never let my daughter watch this show (she is 12), but I can’t get enough of it. I wonder if they should spend marketing the older people that watch the show…like me. This is not a tween show by far, what about the last couple of episodes where a guy was doing a line of coke. Hello! What is a tween to do with that information? For an adult, it’s just like any other show. I think show is becoming too risque for the younger kids! Here are the other ads.
