The Script recently stopped by TV Guide for an exclusive interview to give fans the scoop on their debut album, what it’s like opening for U2 and what fans can expect in the near future. The Script recently stopped by The Ellen DeGeneres Show to perform their hit single “Breakeven.” The Irish trio has sold over 2 million albums worldwide, and have been the opening act for some of the biggest names in music including Paul McCartney and U2. Now the group is preparing to hit the road with David Cook on a countrywide tour. You all know, that I, Willow Raine, LOVE guys who wear eyeliner, it is a huge weakness of mine. Once upon a time, the prerequisites for the boyfriend position was 1.)You had to play the guitar, 2.)You had to wear eyeliner. I know, trust me, and though my tastes have evolved to “Seduce my mind and you can have my body, Find my soul and I’m yours forever” mentality, I still adore guys who wear eyeliner.

It’s no secret that yours truly is a fan of American Idol, and a huge Adam Lambert supporter, but when I found out about this, it definitely opened my eyes to how amazing David Cook truly is, deep down. Not just superficially, but genuinely.
He lost his brother Adam on May 2nd, and still served as the grand marshal for the ‘Race for Hope 5K’ in Washington D.C. during the weekend. David Cook was quoted as saying,during the event “I actually lost my brother yesterday to a brain tumor and I couldn’t imagine being anywhere else right now.By running and sharing my brother’s story, I hope that it offers those still fighting that much more resolve to not succumb to this wretched disease.â€
His brave brother Adam had been battling brain cancer for over a decade, and was taken away far too young. He was 37 years old and left behind his wife,their two kids, his family and countless friends. Our sympathy and condolences here at TenGossip are with the Cook family, and friends as they struggle through this difficult time.
Cancer has probably touched each and every one of us in some way, directly or indirectly, and the fact that David Cook would attend a charity event to raise money and awareness for it, while dealing with the death of his brother, has left me in awe.
I ask that you all observe a moment of silence with me for him, those that are grieving with him, and anyone else that has ever lost someone to cancer, been lost to cancer, or even someone who has survived cancer.
My heart is overflowing with love for anyone who could be this humble, and have such a beautiful soul.
