I swear I have been staring at the above picture for about an hour. So finally I decided I would post it. Robert Pattinson was outside after doing the David Letterman Show tonight (November 18). He was all smiles while he greeted fans and signed autographs.
Rob shared withEllen Degeneres on a show airing on Friday that he got bored during an autograph signing and decided to try something different.
“You kind of get ten seconds with each person and you never really say anything . . . I kind of got bored,” he explains. When one female fan asked Pattinson “how can I get your attention?” Pattinson had a novel suggestion. “I was like, um, just take your clothes off.”
“She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security. I never felt more terrible . . . I sound like I’m actually just abusing my position.”
I have no clue what I would do if Rob told me that. Okay, I do. I probably wouldn’t take my clothes off but that poor girl got dragged off after Rob suggested it to her. And as a bonus…Rob told this story to Ellen so she is probably at home squealing about how she got Rob’s attention.
Jonah Hill was on David Letterman last night. I don’t usually watch him but Jonah actually had something interesting to say about Twitter. And since Twitter is talked about all the time I had to listen. Jonah said there was this imposter on Twitter who has thousands of followers and apparently people think it’s him. (Jonah has never been on Twitter before.) He went on to say…
“Apparently this kid has been talking trash to Jon Favreau,” Hill said, adding that he had wanted to work with the director someday. Hill even placed a real-life call to Favreau to apologize for the fake Hill’s words.
It got me thinking. I have been watching this @blakeshelton on there for a couple of days now. I thought it might be him, because he was talking about personal things, but the last couple of days this guy has been really nasty. I’m beginning to wonder now. And no he doesn’t have verified account on the top of his page, but there are other celebrities that I know it’s them and they aren’t verified either. So what I’m trying to say is be wary, you never know who’s on the other side of that tweet.
I am loving Hayden Panettiere’s black dress that she wore for the David Letterman Show tonight. It looks perfect on her. She was there to promote her new movie, I Love You, Beth Cooper, which hits theaters on Friday.
Recently Hayden revealed that she wants to be respected as an actress. I don’t blame her in this cut-throat media world.
“I love acting. It’s something I respect. It’s something that makes me want to be respected for what I do. I’m working toward being a respected actress. Meryl Streep is it for me. Just because I’m in the spotlight doesn’t mean I’m God’s gift to the world. I do have cameras in my face all of the time. Fame leaves you no room to mess up even slightly, and things get turned around on you. That’s why I feel you really do have to live your life conscious that people are watching. There are certain things you just can’t do.”
It’s too bad that being a celebrity means that you have to cut so much out of your life.
Kristen Stewart makes me jealous sometimes. Yes, she gets to work with one of the cutest guys ever, Robert Pattinson, and I am woman enough to admit that. She is the cover girl for the March 2009 issue of Nylon…and I’m still a bit confused about the interview. Here are the highlights:
On the Twilight madness: “Anywhere we’d go for Twilight was a psychotic situation. The sound was deafening, and it’s thoughtless, as well… You get a slew of all these bulls*** questions like, ‘What’s it like to kiss a vampire?’ and ‘How much do you love Robert?’ Then you’ll get one that’s actually real, but you’re like, ‘No, I can’t right now, I can’t even consider [it].â€
On the memorable David Letterman appearance: “I feel like I have nothing to say on those shows… I’m not good at the funny thing—most people are really great on those shows. I don’t have a contrived personality that [I can] just pump out [for] a five-minute segment, so I end up sitting there and looking kind of baffled. Embarrassing.â€
On the rumors of her and Robert Pattinson together: “It’s just totally false… Rob and I are good friends. We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. But if we go out in public, every little detail is scrutinized, like the way I stand next to him. And it’s like, I know this guy really well [laughs]. It’s only natural that we’re sort of leaning on each other, because we’re put in the most psychotic situations.â€
On her actual boyfriend: “He’s older than me—he’s 20 now—but when you’re 13 and he’s turning 16, it was always sort of an out-of-reach thing. Then you get a little older, and you realize, ‘Oh, What am I thinking? I can have you, like, lickity…He’s awesome.â€
Kate Hudson wore the funkiest dress for her appearance on the David Letterman Show. The dress is one of my favorite colors but even though I might not like it, it looks killer on her! You can see Kate in the movie, Bride Wars, starting Friday. I can’t wait to see this one. Kate rocks comedy movies!

ALSO join the great DEBATE OF 2009 on this dress at SOFACHIP.COM. Jessica Rae and I are duking it out…to see who actually likes this dress or not. (Come on peeps back me up.)
Hayden Panettiere was on Letterman last night. But really the segment was taped during the week and shown on Friday night. She doesn’t talk about Heroes but talks about her whale saving efforts.
