Orphan is now out on DVD & BluRay. I watched the movie yesterday and I have to say that I was very impressed. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. I was very glad it was during the day because I was freaking out. And the twist in the movie…I wasn’t expecting it at all. Get it on Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand & Digital Download on October 27th. The movie has two really strong characters….the girl that plays Esther, Isabelle Fuhrman, and the little girl that plays her sister, Max, Aryana Engineer, I was crying for little Max through the movie! It also stars Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard.

The synopsis goes like this: Tragedy seems to follow nine-year-old Esther. She was orphaned in her native Russia. Her last adoptive family perished in a fire Esther barely escaped. But now the Coleman family has adopted her, and life is good. Until a classmate takes a serious fall from a slide. Until an orphanage nun is battered to death. I have to admit that I was pretty excited to watch Eleventh Hour.  This Jerry Bruckheimer produced series is only available through the WBshop.com. And it features all 18 episodes and 6 discs for just $34.95.

What surprised me the most was how this reminded me of Fringe. I’m new to all these Sci-Fi kind of shows, but now because of Fringe I’m way more accepting of the whole thing. This show has everything that I look for and more.

The synopsis for the show goes like this: Legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer is back again in the nick of time with Eleventh Hour. This Complete 6-Disc, 18-Episode Series stars Rufus Sewell as a brilliant biophysicist and special science advisor to the government investigating scientific crises and oddities – everything from cloning to cryogenics. Everyone knows that a Matthew McConaughey movie has to be good. And then you add Jennifer Garner in there and you have a hit! I am a huge fan of movies that go in the past or future so Ghosts Of Girlfriends Past was perfect. Get it on Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand & Digital Download September 22.

Zachary Quinto spent the better part of his weekend on a photo shoot with Tyler Shields but managed to spend time with his friends on Labour Day in Los Angeles. Heroes starts in only a couple of weeks. You still have time to catch up by buying the third season on DVD. I know I would love to be able to catch up because so much happened.

The Heroes Season 3 DVD/Blu-Ray is coming out today and one of the features included on the set is a behind the scenes tour of the Prop Box. I can’t believe the secrets he reveals in this video. I have to admit that I know who it is the video, and it’s because of Twitter. (It’s @jamesprops you can follow him on Twitter and see his Heroes tweets too.)

Season 3 of Heroes is coming out on DVD and Blu-Ray on September 1st  just in time for you to recap the show before the new season starts. The DVD comes with 20 hours of bonus content and a preview of Season 4 on the Blu-ray disc. I know I need this set to round out my collection of the other two seasons I have on DVD.

I have been waiting to find out information about the Season 4 Supernatural DVD release for weeks now. I still am waiting on an exact date but seeing this information out brings me a bit closer to getting it in my hands. Season 4 was one of my most favorite seasons. I love the episode, Yellow Fever, it’s topped the old one I had, Mystery Spot (from Season 3). I can’t wait to get my hands on this DVD set since I have all the other ones already.

Rob Thomas has to be one of my favorite music artists ever. I can name a million songs of his that I like of his songs while he’s been on his own and when he was with Matchbox Twenty. He has this unique sound and that’s what makes me like him.

Rob has released his first live concert, Live at Red Rocks, captured in High-Definition and mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound for the acclaimed PBS music series Soundstage, the 18-song concert features seven songs not seen on the original 2007 television broadcast plus the music video for “Streetcorner Symphony.” This is a must own. The DVD was released in conjunction with his new Emblem/Atlantic Records solo album, cradlesong. It made June 30 the most anticipated music date for Rob ever.

Not only was Vicky Cristina Barcelona a hot movie it also won Best Picture – Comedy at the 2009 Golden Globe Awards! It stars Javier Bardem, Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz. I finally got a chance to watch it last night. I’m not sure how this is a comedy though..but I guess with all the wine and the sarcastic narration I missed it. I found it more of a drama.

Vicky Cristina Barcelona is a story of  two American women on a carefree Spanish holiday meet a charming local painter and become enamored by him, only to have his intensely passionate ex-wife reenter his life and stir up trouble.

I found it was a passionate movie. With all the love in the air and the sexiness of Javier I was just hoping everyone would be able to get him in the end.  One thing is for certain I am totally obsessed with Scarlett’s hair! I need it!

There are no extra’s with this movie which is a downside. I would have loved to see the bloopers that Scarlett and Javier had between each other. But in any case it was released to DVD on January 27 and is 93 minutes long.

Recently I’ve been a little bit obsessed with Zachary Levi, and while searching for something on him today for the other site I work for I found these screencaps from a movie he was in that was released straight to DVD earlier in 2008. It’s called Wieners and shows that yes…Zachary has a body under those clothes. How adorkable is he? (I seem to have a crush on the adorkable ones lately…)
