I know it’s November but somehow this October 2009 issue of the Swedish Elle with Hayden Panettiere on the cover slipped by without me seeing. It’s so beautiful so I had to share it now. I love the peach dress Hayden is wearing, I need to get one for myself. I am not a dress person but I am loving that one!

A preview shot of a future issue of Elle was released. It shows Ed Westwick and Leighton Meester in a really hot photo shoot. This is going to make all of the Chuck/Blair fans very happy. Just look at that look on Ed’s face…he looks like he is enjoying himself! I know I squeed a bit when I saw it. I can’t wait to see the rest of the photos.

Jennifer Aniston is the Elle cover girl for the September 2009 issue. In the issue she mostly talks about how she is unlucky in love. I know we have probably heard this story many times from her, but the photo shoot is stunning. Here are the highlights:
On being called “the Lonely Girl”: “I’m not going to ignore the pink elephant in the living room. It’s fine. I can take it. If I’m the emblem for ‘this is what it looks like to be the lonely girl getting on with her life,’ so be it.”
On supporting others unlucky in love: “I support women, men, anybody who is in a place that’s not their strongest and who is ready to push forward.”
On using humor to get through tough situations: “I remember being 7 and asking my mom if I was as pretty as [my best friend] Monique. And with all the love in the world, my mom looked at me and said, ‘Oh, honey, you’re so funny.’ So, she doesn’t lie to me. She answers the question by not answering and instead tells me what she thinks is my greatest strength.”

Avril Lavigne is the cover girl for the Canadian issue of Elle magazine. I know that she’s from Canada but really I don’t see her as Canadian anymore. She’s made quite a name for herself and probably lives in the States with her husband. In this issue she talks about her clothing line, her changing style and her new album. Here are the highlights:
On her fans following her style: “I knew my style really resonated with my fans when they dressed like me at my shows-that was pretty insane. And it was so cool to see them change with me. For the second record, I wore bondage pants and started putting black in my hair, and they started showing up looking like that too.â€
On her clothing line Abbey Dawn: “I wanted this clothing line for so long, I wanted to do it right. I didn;t just want a Licensing deal; I wanted this to be my line, and I wanted to put everything I have into it. I’ve been planning it for years. It’s my own personal style-everything I love.â€
On settling down: “I see the fast pace continuing for awhile. I don’t want to settle down. If I’m going to have kids, it’s not going to be until later. I have a lot I want to do, and I just want to have fun.â€
On her new album reflecting her increasing maturity, but not leaving out her youthful pop-punk side: “I’m a young spirit-I like to jump around and have a lot of fun. I have a side that’s really feisty and a side that’s sensitive and mellow. I’ve always loved playing ballads, but I also enjoy rocking out, so I like to mix it up.â€
