Kellan Lutz looked so handsome at the premiere of The Twilight Saga: New Moon at the Mann Village and Bruin Theaters in Los Angeles, California last night. He was wearing a Giorgio Armani suit. I have to say that someone knew what they were doing when they were dressing him.
Kellan had appeared on the Ryan Seacrest show just Monday morning and he was talking about his role as Emmett and how they wanted him to play Edward.
“I was doing [HBO's] Generation Kill and was sent the script in Africa. I put it off, then finally read it and by the time I got back to L.A., they said, ‘OK, are you ready to audition for Edward?’ I said, ‘I don’t want to play Edward. He’s too complex, too depressing for me.’ I’m so happy with Emmett. I don’t care to be famous.”
I think he is great as Emmett. Have you seen the birthday scene? He cracks me up!
In my mission to find a Kellan Lutz of my own I found something else. A cardboard version of Emmett Cullen. I was talking with Kellan Lutz Online about how we needed one for every room. But I still think I could use this cardboard one while my real Kellan was away at work making movies. I am sure that he’ll be gone a lot since he’s so popular right now.
I can only imagine how I would find it comforting to see an Emmett stalking over me instead of an Edward. We all know that Emmett doesn’t have that stalker type quality in him. Edward does. Thinking of Edward watching me gives me the shivers…and not in a good way!
So what do you say Kellan? Buy me some cardboard versions of you until I can get the real thing?
Kellan Lutz with his darker hair, for his role as Emmett in Eclipse, was at the InStyle Magazine’s Summer Soiree on Thursday night. It seems like none of these guys can sit still for one moment. They are filming their movie in Vancouver plus running around every where else too. It’s nice that they aren’t so lazy.
Kellan Lutz once did this Mountain Dew commercial featuring a ferret. And in this commercial it makes reference to the fact that ferrets attack more than grizzly bears, ironic that he has a part in a certain movie where he’s a big grizzly bear. His hair is so blond and long in this commercial.
And speaking of ferrets, I used to love them until I was attacked by one in a pet store. I will never forget how it wouldn’t stop biting my elbow and how I needed some help but since I couldn’t scream and scare him more I had to wait until he was done biting me. Fun times that was, fun times. (I HAVE NEVER TOUCHED A FERRET SINCE!)
Kellan Lutz looked like he was in Emmett form with his hair dyed a bit darker than usual, last night at the 2009 Teen Choice Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California. He is truly one of those guys that looks great no matter what (cough except on a moped).

Kellan is busy filming the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street. Just like Friday the 13th, I haven’t seen the original so I can’t wait to see how Kellan does.
Kellan recently talked a bit about the time he’s spending on the set.
“I’m shooting ‘A Nightmare on Elm Street’. Which, for me, is one of the scariest thriller-type movies I grew up watching. It’s very similar to [the original], but with new characters. It’s a lot of fun, and it’s actually pretty spooky to be on the set, on location seeing what we’re working with… you walk into these locations and it’s like, you’ve gotta watch your back.â€
I bet being on a horror movie set would be fun. Horror’s are my favorite. I can’t wait to see Kellan on the big screen in this movie. Heaven knows that he needs to be seen in a bigger part than he has in Twilight and the two scenes he is in in New Moon.
