Jensen Ackles Does Venice Magazine

Jensen Ackles Venice Magazine

Is it just me or is Jensen Ackles looking hotter since his 31st birthday? This has to be the hottest photo shoot of Jensen I have seen. He was featured in the February 2009 issue of Venice Magazine. And I had to include every single picture of him from it.

Jensen also did an interview from the magazine. Here are the funny highlights:

On if he was a fan of horror growing up: I was, but I wasn’t a rabid fan. I was definitely a big fan of Stephen King and the Friday the 13th series and Nightmare on Elm Street and all those classics. And my dad was always watching The Shining and other Kubrick stuff, and The Exorcist, so it was something that I definitely enjoyed.

On what he would do if he wasn’t acting: Probably something to do with sports. I was a big sports fan in high school, and I also like biology and medicine, so I orginally thought I was going to go into sports medicine and be a team doctor.

On his house in Vancouver that he shares with Jared Padalecki: ..Jared and I share a house, so he has his end of the house, and I have my end of the house.

Twilight Director Diaries In Entertainment Weekly (SCANS)

Entertainment Weekly February 2009 Cover Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart

I just came back from pre-ordering my Canadian version of the Twilight movie and then I saw these scans from the next issue of Entertainment Weekly and I had to share. I am so glad that I subscribe to this magazine because in this week’s issue it gives you a preview of the book that is coming out on March 17 by the director of the movie, Catherine Hardwick. The book, Twilight: A Director’s Notebook, comes out only four days before the movie does. (So since the bookstore and the store I pre-ordered my movie are right beside each other I will be hitting up both places.) The preview that EW gives makes it look amazing for sure!

Matthew Fox & Evangeline Lilly Cover Entertainment Weekly

Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly Entertainment Weekly Cover February 2009

I was so excited when my Entertainment Weekly came in the mail! Matthew Fox and Evangeline Lilly are on the cover. I have been looking forward to the new season to start already, but I am having a hard time not getting lost with all the time shifting they are doing. This won’t deter me though because I can’t abandon a show I have seen every episode of since the beginning.

Here are some highlights from the interview in the magazine:

Evangeline Lilly on the whole Jack VS Sawyer love interest: ”What I’ve noticed is that the audience tends to root for the coupling that gets the most screen time — and right now, what they’re seeing is Kate and Jack.”

Matthew Fox on love affairs-with ratings: ”That’s someone going, ‘People love romance, so just turn the buttons and dial it up,”’ complains Fox. ”Look, I understand that. But it has to be f—ing credible. Our world doesn’t lend itself to conventional romance. Yearning? Yes. Desire? Yes. Passion? Yes. And when those things play out in the context of survival s— that’s gotta get done, where people’s lives are f—ing at stake — that’s cool. But romance? I haven’t always bought it for Jack and Kate, and I haven’t always bought it for Kate and Sawyer. The show’s too intense for that.”

Matthew on Jack’s pull to the island: ”I’ve always believed part of what was destroying him was his lack of physical proximity to the Island,” says Fox. ”He is fated to do something on the Island, and he has fought that with every fiber of his body, and in doing that, the Island is destroying him from afar. When he finds himself back in this place, he’s wide-eyed and alert. He knows he’s in the path of his own destiny.”

Matthew on this season’s new twists: ”It feels very different from what Lost has felt like in the past, but in a really good way,” says the actor, sporting neatly parted hair and some dangling iPod earbuds. ”There will be many, many answers, lots of things from past seasons that left the audience thinking, ‘That’s never going to pay off’ — but it does, in really cool ways that make you go ‘Holy s—!’ The season has a real feeling of things coming together, and it builds a groundswell of momentum for the end of the show.”

Renee Zellweger Does Marie Claire

Renee Zellweger Marie Claire February 2009

Renee Zellweger sure is pulling out the pink for February 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan. Renee has been out of the public eye for a while now. In the interview included she talks about marriage and being single. Here are some highlights:

On marriage: “I never say never about anything, because I look back on my own personal history and it shocks me. If I would ever have said, ‘Oh for sure this is going to be in my future,’ most of my experiences would not have been on my list. So I don’t even bother thinking about it, because I’ve learned that there’s no anticipating that stuff.”

On being one of the single ladies: “The thing is, I’m away all the time (she has farmhouse on Long Island undergoing perpetual renovation and an apartment in New York). I suppose if I sat still long enough to get to know somebody beyond a dinner date, maybe. But I don’t feel like my life is empty or that I have to make something happen. I have projects to develop. I want to study American history and political science, live in an apartment in France, and fix my bad French. And is there really time for all of it? Last summer, when I said it wasn’t the right time for something I wanted to do, a friend asked, ‘How long are you going to live?’” Then she offers that gentle smirk of hers, “I’m not single, I’m busy. (laughs) That’s my line.”

Why does everyone want to talk about marriage to these celebs. I have banned Valentine’s Day until further notice.

Kate Hudson Does UK Cosmopolitan

Kate Hudson UK Cosmopolitan February 2009

Kate Hudson is the cover girl for the February 2009 issue of UK Cosmopolitan. I love this picture of her on the cover…well what you can see of it. Why must they cover the cover with all that writing?

In the interview with the magazine she talks about being single, marriage, and dating. Here are the highlights:

On being single: I’d always been the kind of girl who really loves being in a relationship – I don’t think I’ve been properly single since I was 17 – so it’s always where I’ve felt at my best. But this time it’s different. I’m single and all of my friends are with someone, and that’s never happened before … It’s really nice to sit up at night and read a book, or knit – I love knitting! … I even love sitting there and sometimes being a bit bored, because it makes me appreciate the times when I do do things with my friends … I definitely want to incorporate this new ‘me’ into my next relationship, where you still do things by yourself.

On dating: Dating is a funny one. I’ve never sought love out. I’m a big believer that women should just live their lives and if it happens, it happens.

On getting married again: I don’t know. Who knows who I’ll end up with, and if marriage would even be important to them. I dreamt of the fairy-tale love story – but not so much of the wedding. I never pictured the type of dress I’d wear. For me, it was more about finding the man I was going to have children with. I didn’t think I’d be looking for more than one, though!

Kate has one thing right, usually someone comes along when you aren’t looking for it.

Joshua Jackson Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine

Joshua Jackson, Chace Crawford and Blair Underwood February 2008 Cosmopolitan

Joshua Jackson with the help of Chace Crawford and Blair Underwood covers the February 2009 issue of Cosmopolitan. The interview with Joshua’s picture is cute, he talks about his girlfriend, Diane Kruger, and how he was smitten with her the first time he saw her.

If it was love at first sight with Diane: I was smitten. I don’t know how smitten she was. It took  much convincing on my part, but that’s okay. Every man likes to chase.

On the best gift Diane has given him: She gave me an incredibly nice watch that has, “With love, D” on the back.

How sweet!
