Today is TENGossip’s first birthday. I can’t believe how the time has went by so quickly! We want to thank everyone for their support of the site as without it we would be nothing. Everyone has been amazing to us and you deserve a thank you as much as anyone.
To celebrate I thought I would share the top five posts of the year…
-Mistakes That Were Found In The Dark Knight (It seemed like I couldn’t write enough about this movie.)
-Let Robert Pattinson Breathe! (Written by WillowRaine. This sums up what we wish we could tell all those fan girls!)
-James Holzier & Me: The Interview (This was my first real interview I did…and I have to say James was amazing and made it seem all too easy.)
-Jensen Ackles Does The Chelsea Lately Show (Jensen is so funny in this interview, and to this day it still makes me laugh. I think it’s my favorite interview of all time.)
-Milo Ventimiglia Takes A Picture (I love my camera so seeing Milo hanging onto one too just makes me feel all giddy inside. This has to be my favorite picture of him.)
Thanks again for taking this ride with us, and it’s far from over yet. There are great things coming to TEN Gossip during the summer. I plan on devoting a lot more time to this place to really show you what I have. So get ready for changes….
P.S. I have to send a special thanks to the writers that have written for and are writing for the site. You are the heart to the site, without you TEN and I would be nothing.
And to the cast of Twilight and Alex O’Loughlin…you guys have done amazing things for TEN and we could never be happier, you really have changed this place. For the better!
And I know I am adding this late but I also have to thank Bumpshack that got me going. I couldn’t have done it without his perseverance. He didn’t give up and got the site up for me. Thank you.

The amazing, giving heart that I am bringing from the dark, into the light today belongs to none other than
James Holzier. I’m sure you’ve read the interview, here on
Ten Gossip, between
James and our own
Taylor Blue. If that didn’t cause you to become smitten with him, then this surely will. There are several charities that hold special places in my heart, no longer than I have been doing these posts, I’m sure you’ve come to realize that. However, any time anyone opens up their hearts to give, it makes ME swell with pride and contentment.
James Holzier makes me smile from ear to ear,and sigh in awe. He supports the
Make A Wish Foundation which grants wishes to children with life threatening medical conditions, and their families. Wishes that they would not have had the ability to afford and/ or make come true without the help of this charity. Though it can’t cure them, it has brought smiles to many sick faces, and created beautiful memories that will last for eternity. There have currently been 178,638 wishes granted, one approximately every 40 minutes, if that isn’t incredible, I don’t know what is.
James also lends his support to
ONE a grassroots campaign and advocacy organization. At this moment they have the support of over 2 million people, standing strong in the fight against extreme poverty and preventable disease, especially in Africa. This cause was Co-founded by
Bono and several others,
ONE is nonpartisan and works closely with African policy makers and activists. Are you sitting there, mouth agape? Well, don’t close your mouth JUST yet, he also extends his support to
Project Home – H.O.M.E standing for (Housing, Opportunities for Employment, Medical Care, Education). This cause is absolutely astounding. Their motto? “None of us are home, until all of us are home” Still unsure what they do, and haven’t clicked the link yet? *Smile* It’s okay, this is what it said on their site, as part of their mission statement:
“The mission of the Project H.O.M.E. community is to empower adults, children, and families to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty, to alleviate the underlying causes of poverty, and to enable all of us to attain our fullest potential as individuals and as members of the broader society. We strive to create a safe and respectful environment where we support each other in our struggles for self-esteem, recovery, and the confidence to move toward self-actualization.”
James like so many other celebrities, isn’t merely aesthetically pleasing, but he is also moral, ethical, and I would love and be proud to extend my hand to him, for being such an astonishing humanitarian, and wonderful human being.

James Holzier is one of those movie stars that I have always wanted to meet. He is humble in every sense of the word. I published one article on him and the girls flocked to see it. So now I finally got a chance to interview James last week and I have to say I can see why they find him so lovable. He is so open and very funny. The interview went on for a long time, and honestly he was so easy to talk to I could have been interviewing him all night. Here are the questions I asked…and his answers.
On what inspired him to be an actor: I can just tell you ever since I was real little it is just something I have always gravitated towards. I just love it. I mean, my earliest memories I recall doing performances in front of my parents. Of course, they seemed to laugh at a lot of those. A lot of them involved lip syncing to Boyz II Men or things like that. In school, I used to day dream about acting and so I would do commercials and all things like that. I have just always felt it. It is what I love and it has been like that since they day I was born…
On if James sings as well as acting: I act…it is what I love but the lip syncing was just something that I did for fun when I was growing up. I have two older sisters and so I never had the chance to listen to what I wanted to listen to on the radio. So I would always just dance and sing to what they were listening to. But that is just me being me..Really I have been doing nothing but acting, that is what I love. That is what I get. I can’t explain it any better than like someone really loving baseball or basketball or reporting or singing or teaching or anything no matter what it is. But acting is it….
On the struggles James has been through: I could be here forever talking about them. Honestly. It is hard, cause I would list them to you and I will just name a couple. But what I believe honestly Taylor…is that we all have struggles. Whoever we are. We all have struggles in life. And if we don’t we aren’t human. Especially us having struggles to be what we want to be or be where we want to do. That is what unifies us….
But for me…I mean I was never even supposed to be born. My parents were told they would never have anymore kids after my sisters. The doctors told them it was IMPOSSIBLE. Then doctors told them when I was born I wouldn’t even survive. AT ALL. And I just think from the beginning it shows you nothing is impossible. Nothing. Growing up it seemed I always faced obstacles of people doubting me or not believing in me and that is okay because it makes you stronger.
On what kind of scripts pull him in: I really don’t have a kind of script that pulls me in. Honestly I have had lots of opportunities to be in films and do roles that came to me, but I just can’t do anything that I don’t believe in. I can’t sell myself for something I don’t believe in. All the things you mention, I can and will do but all that matters is that I believe in it. Those are the ones that draw me in and the ones that pull me in.
On the actors/actresses he looks up to: I look up to a lot of people but for different reasons. Mostly because of how they inhabit a role. I admire actors and actresses for different reasons too. One could be because how they convey emotion or in their body language or how each role is so different from the last. Or how they are so likable it all depends. But one person that I will point out that I look up to and somewhat can relate too is James Dean. I can relate to a lot of his background and his struggles and his emotion. I look up to him, but there are others like Johnny Depp because I respect his choices. (Daniel Day Lewis and Meryl Streep were also on the list.)
More of his interview and more pictures after the jump…

I am always looking for new people to cover so when James Holzier was brought to my attention I couldn’t resist.
Look out ladies! Looking for new stars. There is no better one than newcomer on the rise James Holzier. This new star is tearing up the net waves and women alike of all ages are calling him their own. James Holzier is the #1 searched for male celebrity in the world on Mencelebs.com. Which, is the highest visited male celebrity directory on the planet. Holzier has a nice tight lean body which you will see in pictures, but what makes him so unique and identifiable is that young James has overcome odds and obstacles throughout his entire life.
This hot new star also has followed his own path in turning his back on instant stardom. Respectfully so. James has turned down roles for instant fame in choice of following his instincts and his passion and love toward acting. This new star knows who he is, and I like that alot! As one Hollywood insider says, “He knows who he is. I respect that alot.” Holzier has celebrity sites alike all writing about him and clinging on to him. Including Juicy UK in the United Kingdom, Girl Power Magazine in Australia and so many more. His large following is very evident, but all seems deeper because Holzier seem to evoke something many don’t. As the Insider of Entertainment on CBS has mentioned Holzier as authentic. Holzier remains undeniable humble down to earth and was quoted in saying recently, “I am not better than anyone else no way at all. Not even close. I just thing any of can do anything whoever we are. ” Holzier carries that cool attitude which has served him very well in life. No matter what the role Holzier decides to grab onto you can be sure operators and magazines alike are standing by.
All this and more is setting the stage for a bright new star poised for stardom.
