Foxx&Butler2

Gerard Butler has been a working machine lately. His latest movie, Gamer, just opened in theaters last weekend and now his new movie, Law Abiding Citizen, is coming out on October 16th.

See the trailer here>>>>

Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.

Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton’s high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton’s crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.

And now they have the official movie poster for the movie.

I can’t wait to see this one. But at this point I am loving everything Gerard is doing. I must be a bit biased.

Law Abiding Citizen Starring Gerard Butler Movie Trailer

I have to admit that I saw this trailer for Law Abiding Citizen the other day on You Tube. I wanted to see it because I had heard that Gerard Butler’s performance was amazing in it. And I have to say that they were right. He looks crazy. But with the premise of the movie who would blame a person like that?

The synopsis is this: Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. It hits theaters on October 16th. I can’t wait to see this one. I want to see how dark Gerard is going to get!

Jamie Foxx Gerard Butler

I am obsessed with Gerard Butler. Okay, I said it. I think I might need a 12-step program for this one. So when these movie posters passed by my desk today there was no way I couldn’t post them.

Gerard and Jamie Foxx are in a new movie coming to theaters on October 16th called Law Abiding Citizen. It sounds like an action right up my alley. It also seems that Gerard has been really busy lately with all these movies!

King George:ACM Artist of The Decade

Growing up in Kentucky, being surrounded by country music, I probably knew who George Strait was, before I knew how to write my full name, and that’s saying something. I’ve always thought, however, that George
never got the recognition he deserved. He plays country music the way it was intended, pure, raw, real. New country is okay, and has it’s place, I’m sure, but George Strait is definitely among the unsung (pardon the pun) heroes of country music. I’d list him alongside of greats such as Hank Williams,George Jones, Merle Haggard,Waylon Jennings, Ray Price,Loretta Lynn,Patsy Cline, Red Sovine need I go on? I probably could for days. Though country is not exactly MY number one choice in music, I am very knowledgeable on the topic.
Here was a short Q & A with George, who is lovingly referred to as King George:The King of Country music. He is looked up to by the young and old, alike.

I watched most of the program, myself. He was paid homage to by music greats such as Alan Jackson and Tim McGraw, but the one part that really touched me was Jamie Foxx’s story and performance of “You Look So Good In Love”

George Strait has been singing country music, and entertaining us for thirty years, and I hope he hangs around for many years to come. He is the epitome of country music.
We love you, George.
