Jessica Simpson opened up to Glamour for the September 2009 issue of the magazine. It was of course before her break-up with Tony Romo so it’s probably filled with love and admiration for him. Here are the highlights:

Jessica on Recovering From Her Divorce From Nick Lachey: “It was hard to imagine I would ever walk down the aisle again,” she says. “It was like a death in the family: You go through the mourning stage, then the rebellion, and then all of a sudden you have to find life by yourself. Once you do that, you feel complete — and that’s the only time you can truly fall in love again, and give yourself over completely to another person.”

Jessica on Body Image: “It’s not fair that women look in the mirror and feel disgust because of what society has made them believe about beauty. I’ve been through it myself and understand the pressures. We’re all facing the same struggles together, whether you’re a celebrity or not.”

Jessica Explains Her Work Ethic: “I’m never going to be a woman who doesn’t work. At 12 I was emancipated from my parents so I could sign my first record deal. I think I was born working!”

No, I don’t live under a rock. Though, I normally do NOT post anything about the personal lives of celebs if I can help it, so I’m sure you’re in shock over this, yes? Don’t be. I’m not straying from that.
So, I “hear” that Tony Romo and Jessica Simpson have called it quits. Don’t cry yet, they tend to reconcile pretty quickly, as it’s stated in interviews, magazines, blogs, sites, what have you.
I love that a rep for Jessica Simpson would neither confirm nor deny the reports, saying, “We don’t comment on our clients’ personal lives.”
Hell yes. I think we should all feel that way.
If they ARE split up, is that going to give the Dallas Cowboys a better season? Contrary to popular belief, that answer is NO. I would think if Tony loves Jess, then being with her makes him happy,passionate, and then THAT would make him a better player. SO, hey you,yes you decked out in Dallas Cowboys attire, HUSH.
Will it better her singing career if they’re not together? Well NO.
Jessica’s strong suit has never been angry chick music, so let’s not go there, shall we?
Whether they’re together, whether they aren’t, it shouldn’t matter to you, me, or your next door neighbor. It should matter to them.
Though, the whole yo-yo thing isn’t healthy, so hey Jess, Tony, shit or get off the pot already. Geez!

Jennifer Love Hewitt spent the day today shopping in Burbank with a friend. She loooks happy and healthy, and I think I am in love with her purse. I could fit everything in there. Jennifer has been sounding off about the way people have been making fun of Jessica Simpson and her weight by telling people to leave her alone.

“Not everybody can be super tall and super skinny,” she added. “You have to look inside yourself and find your own confidence. It wavers from day to day, but that’s human nature.”

There is way too much pressure on weight these days. People should just be able to be who they are.

You know when everyone sees these pictures of Jessica Simpson performing in Florida today they are going to say such horrible things about her. I’m going to try to explain what could have happened to make Jessica look…well.. so different.  So yes, it looks like Jessica had a wonderful Christmas and who knows she might be hiding a bump in there. But I really think it comes down to clothing choice. I know that all of us women have to agree that high waisted pants are not our friends. I threw away my pair of pants like that when I looked in the mirror and saw that my butt was as big as a Mack Truck. So whoever was dressing Jessica should have known the same thing. Jessica … get a new wardrobe person…this is not working…

Mariah Carey has made me mad at Dior, of all things! I love Dior, but the Ugg-like, bright red, feathered boots by Dior that Mariah Carey wore recently… What can we say about them? They certainly call attention to your feet. Which would be better if they didn’t make your feet/ankles look so puffy. The reason for the feathers boggles my mind, but I have a feeling that when Jessica Simpson sees these she’ll be ordering her very own pair with glee.

Despite being cold, Carey has to show off her cleavage – it’s in her life contract with God. I guess the only thing I can say at this point is…why couldn’t she at least have worn a little blush? Not like one more element (especially a good one) could possibly be overkill. Yowza!

Jessica Simpson seems so frumpy lately that I thought we all needed to see something like the way she used to look like before fame got to her head. I really liked her and Nick Lachey together. I still have their last season of their show to watch on DVD. But I just can’t bring myself to do it. Once I watch it, there will be no more Chicken of the Sea.

Jessica Simpson was on The View June 25…it seems to me something something fishy is going on. Jessica was quoted saying that she still loves Tony Romo…is it because she’s pregnant? Now stay with me on this one. This dress…do you think it looks a little frumpy on her? I think that dress would be good for my daughter or my grandmother to wear. EIther way it’s pretty bad. So do you think she’s pregnant?
