It’s nice to see that celebrities have sense’s of humor these days. Taylor Swift was supposed to come on the stage to help Keith Urbanto sing Kiss The Girl on Saturday in Missouri. But Taylor decided to prank Keith by going on the stage as KISS members. I thought it was adorable, and especially when you see Keith’s face when he notices what’s going on and doesn’t skip a beat during the song.
Hayden Panettiere looked great while she was leaving Comic Con in San Diego yesterday, where they showed a preview of next season’s Heroes. It showed Claire in a lip-lock with another female on the show. The producers on the panel played it down saying that it wasn’t a big deal. (But yet they showed that clip at Comic Con, to draw people into watching it.)
And I know I was wondering about the whole Nathan/Sylar thing. They are both my favorite characters and I didn’t want to see either one of them leaving. I guess they are solving that problem by doing a Jekyll and Hyde thing.
Now for a major spoiler: Hiro will get a terminal disease and will face problems with his powers. And he will be using his ‘bucket list’ to try and go back and try and fix the things he did wrong. But we all know that won’t go easy.
It sounds like the next season of Heroes will be exciting.
Finally, the first stills have been released from New Moon. Entertainment Weekly rocks for getting these out there. I get so excited seeing the anticipation of Bella and Edward’s kiss. Seeing these makes me wonder what New Moon clip they will show at the MTV Movie Awards on May 31st.
So talking about SPOILERS here so if you don’t want to know about what happens in the book stop here. The scene I most want to see is when Bella jumps off the cliff. I would love to see how they incorporate Edward in that scene, and then I would like to see the birthday party. (Just because the Cullen family is all in it.) What do you think they’ll show? They have 30 seconds. It has to be good.
When I heard that Robert Pattinson, you know, one of the loves of my life, was going to be portraying Salvador Dali in the film “Little Ashes” I was extremely excited, yet I KNEW that it would be controversial to say the least. Simply because so many, that had no insight into Salvador’s genius, would let the choice of his lover, which should strictly be HIS business, tarnish their opinion of him. However, so far, the kissing and love scenes that we have been privileged enough to get a sneak peak of, have been raved about. Everyone thinks that it’s sexy, and hot, though it’s surprising, it makes me have hope that at least some will be able to walk away from this movie a bit more aware of one of the most brilliant Surrealist artists of all time, in my opinion. I’m sure a lot of it is that Robert Pattinson is SO hot, so sexy, that we would watch him in almost anything, including but not limited to infomercials with Billy Mays and not turn the channel, but instead hang on his every word and drool. I’ll take art education for the masses, any way I can get it. *Grin* And so, you should really check out this video along with me, prepare your bib *wink*
For those that Don’t know much of him, Dali’s most famous, and beloved piece by most is Persistence Of Memory . It is simply fascinating, he often described his art as`hand-painted dream photographs’, I couldn’t agree more. He wasn’t just a painter though, he was also a sculptor, graphic artist, and designer who was wise in words beyond his years, and time. One of my favorite quotes, that could not be more truthful, he uttered. “Intelligence without ambition is a bird without wings.”
I know that Robert Pattinson isn’t exactly thrilled with this movie, as I’ve read in GQ , but I cannot wait to watch it. It combines art, taboo love, genius, and of course Robert Pattinson all in one film. I couldn’t be any happier, unless someone hand delivered Rob to my door. *Sigh*
Mary-Kate Olsen is starring in the movie The Wackness and has decided to dish on her kiss with Ben Kingsley in the movie. (Which is ewww when I think about it…)
“We shot it at three o’clock in the morning and so everyone was a bit delirious anyhow,” Olsen, 22, tells the Wall Street Journal about working with the 64-year-old Gandhi Oscar winner.
The heavy smooch takes place in a phone booth – but the two did anything but phone in their performances. “He was so professional about it and made me feel so comfortable,” she says. “He said, ‘Anything you don’t feel comfortable about, let me know. You lead me.’ “
