Gossip Girl Spoilers Season 3 Episode 10: The Last Days Of Disco Suck

I have to say that Gossip Girl has really brought the guest stars this year,  Hilary Duff, Jimmy Fallon, Lady Gaga and one of my personal favorites, Kevin Zegers. I was going to write about Kevin before…he starred in the Air Bud movies and he grew up in Canada…right near where I lived in Ontario. We all know he has to be cool then!

The tenth episode of the season is called, The Last Days of Disco Suck, and it goes like this…Hoping to impress the elitist theater kids at NYU, Blair (Leighton Meester) sets her sights on landing a private concert with the hottest musical performer of the year, Lady Gaga. Dan (Penn Badgley) and Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) sign up to write and star in a school play, based on an idea by Blair and directed by Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). With Blair out of the picture, Serena (Blake Lively) turns to Nate (Chace Crawford) to help her get through a difficult situation. As a favor to Chuck (Ed Westwick), Jenny (Taylor Momsen) agrees to hang out with Damien (guest star Kevin Zegers), the son of an ambassador who is staying at Chuck’s hotel, but the experience proves to be a lot more intriguing than she expected.

Kanye West Apologizes … Is It Too Late?

Kanye West has been causing trouble all over the place. Tonight at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards he went up to Taylor Swift while she was accepting her first VMA and interrupted saying that it was Beyonce that had the better music video. I watched the clip so many times and even sat through the Awards again to see if it would change the second time around. But of course, just like the Titanic sinks every time I watch the movie this one did too.

I was on Twitter after wards watching the reactions. That place has really changed the way we do news these days. Anyways, I overheard  that Kanye’s twitter account had been suspended. It was probably a really good idea they did that considering all the hate messages that would be delivered there.

And then Mike from Mike’s Bloggity Blog was telling me that Kanye  is making an announcement about his tour with Lady Gaga tomorrow (Monday) and is on the first episode of the new Jay Leno show. So for the first time I’m thinking maybe he did it on purpose to drum up publicity for himself? I don’t know if it turned out the way he wanted since his performance at the VMA’s was canceled. Please tell me that he was just being stupid? It’s a whole lot easier to explain then what it is.

Separated At Birth? Lady Gaga & My Little Pony

There was no way that I was going to let this comparison slip me by. I know that there was something that I noticed when I saw Lady Gaga in Tokyo. Her hair looked totally like something I would see on my My Little Pony I had when I was a little kid. So I ask you…do you think they were separated at birth?

Lady Gaga Going for Broke..Again.

Most anyone who knows me, is well aware that Lady Gaga isn’t my favorite artist, but I do appreciate her as a performer.
However, I am well aware of how elaborate and costly her stage costumes are. Although, I’m not so sure I’d be willing to go into the poor house to entertain ANYONE.
The woman has filed bankruptcy FOUR times. How does one spend that much money without flinching? Seriously. I feel guilty if I spend twenty DOLLARS more than I should. *Shaking my head* I don’t get it.
Apparently, according to UK’s The Sun Lady Gaga says “Every dollar I earn goes on the show. Now we’re finally getting to a place where it’s not bankruptcy. Then again, with another tour coming up soon I’ll probably be homeless again,” she said.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but when on tour, do you not live in a bus and hotels anyway? So TECHNICALLY you’re already homeless. It’s not as if you carry your house around with you.
So, if you’re THAT concerned about not having a house to go home to, how about you back off the spending, toots? Your real fans will love you, for your music, for YOU, not because you’re some avant garde fashionista. Seriously. And Lady Gaga,may I be frank for a moment? (then I’ll go back to being Willow)
Most of those outfits are just awful..just hideous. It detracts from your shows, and your talent.
Stop trying so hard to impress an audience. If they leave you because you aren’t going broke to please them, then they’re fickle, and it’s best to be rid of them anyhow. The ones left remaining are the fans that you should build your career around.
Let’s hope this new Tour with Kanye West makes her some big bucks, no whammy’s and she doesn’t have to file her next bankruptcy. My fingers (and eyes) are crossed for ya, babe.
