I have been trying to stay away from the computer today. Trying to not get sucked up into the whirlwind of news that is just overstimulating me. I haven’t uttered Michael Jackson’s name much today. Because the truth is that I can’t imagine a world without his singing in it. It seems just so quiet without him here. Michael changed the face of music forever. I don’t think there will ever be anyone that compares to him in this world and now the King of Pop is gone.

Lisa Marie Presley was married to Michael  for a short time in the 1990’s and took to her MySpace to blog about how she felt about his passing.

He Knew.

Years ago Michael and I were having a deep conversation about life in general.

I can’t recall the exact subject matter but he may have been questioning me about the circumstances of my Fathers Death.

At some point he paused, he stared at me very intensely and he stated with an almost calm certainty, “I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did.”

I promptly tried to deter him from the idea, at which point he just shrugged his shoulders and nodded almost matter of fact as if to let me know, he knew what he knew and that was kind of that.

14 years later I am sitting here watching on the news an ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the Cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears.

A predicted ending by him, by loved ones and by me, but what I didn’t predict was how much it was going to hurt when it finally happened.

The person I failed to help is being transferred right now to the LA County Coroners office for his Autopsy.

All of my indifference and detachment that I worked so hard to achieve over the years has just gone into the bowels of hell and right now I am gutted.

I am going to say now what I have never said before because I want the truth out there for once.

Our relationship was not “a sham” as is being reported in the press. It was an unusual relationship yes, where two unusual people who did not live or know a “Normal life” found a connection, perhaps with some suspect timing on his part. Nonetheless, I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much.

I wanted to “save him” I wanted to save him from the inevitable which is what has just happened.

His family and his loved ones also wanted to save him from this as well but didn’t know how and this was 14 years ago. We all worried that this would be the outcome then.

At that time, In trying to save him, I almost lost myself.

He was an incredibly dynamic force and power that was not to be underestimated.

When he used it for something good, It was the best and when he used it for something bad, It was really, REALLY bad.

Mediocrity was not a concept that would even for a second enter Michael Jackson’s being or actions.

I became very ill and emotionally/ spiritually exhausted in my quest to save him from certain self-destructive behavior and from the awful vampires and leeches he would always manage to magnetize around him.

I was in over my head while trying.

I had my children to care for, I had to make a decision.

The hardest decision I have ever had to make, which was to walk away and let his fate have him, even though I desperately loved him and tried to stop or reverse it somehow.

After the Divorce, I spent a few years obsessing about him and what I could have done different, in regret.

Then I spent some angry years at the whole situation.

At some point, I truly became Indifferent, until now.

As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching on the news almost play by play The exact Scenario I saw happen on August 16th, 1977 happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted.

Any ill experience or words I have felt towards him in the past has just died inside of me along with him.

He was an amazing person and I am lucky to have gotten as close to him as I did and to have had the many experiences and years that we had together.

I desperately hope that he can be relieved from his pain, pressure and turmoil now.

He deserves to be free from all of that and I hope he is in a better place or will be.

I also hope that anyone else who feels they have failed to help him can be set free because he hopefully finally is.

The World is in shock but somehow he knew exactly how his fate would be played out some day more than anyone else knew, and he was right.

I really needed to say this right now, thanks for listening.

Peter Facinelli is quickly becoming one of my favorite New Moon characters, how can I tell? I can finally spell his last name without thinking. But how could you forget how to spell someone as adorable as Peter’s last name? I just don’t get it.

Peter is married to the luckiest girl in the whole world, Jennie Garth. Jennie said that she learnt that Peter cooked a pasta dinner for the cast of New Moon when they reunited for the filming. Jennie said this about the whole situation.

“I am pissed off, because he doesn’t make me pasta dinners. I don’t know when was the last time the man cooked for me!”

Sigh, the man. I would just love to be able to call him the man! Jennie I’m sure he’ll make it up to you in other ways. Afterall, you do have three children and a very hot husband…just saying…

Have I ever told you how jealous I am of Fergie? I must have at least once. Josh Duhamel is hot in every way. I wish I would have figured that out before his show Las Vegas was canceled. It would have cut down on my heart break anyways.

Josh was refilming some of his scenes with Kristen Bell for the movie, When in Rome, today (March 17th) and I couldn’t be happier to see pictures of him.

In this world where anyone can be called a celebrity, even a reality show star like Spencer Pratt, I have to say that he is one whipped boy. It was raining in Malibu on Friday and where was Spencer? Helping out his bride, Heidi Montag, while she was working out in the rain. Heaven forbid she might get her hair messed up…(Please, she is working out…I’m sure the rain would feel refreshing!)

There are also rumors of Spencer plotting a fake messy divorce, because honestly we haven’t seen much of them around lately.

“Spencer is masterminding the whole thing right now,” says a source. “He’ll make sure people see him going in and out of a lawyer’s office. Then he’ll stage fake fights with Heidi for the cameras and talk on the show about getting married too young and pretend he’s really conflicted.”

“Spencer will push this as far as he can, but it will all be 100 percent fake. He loves Heidi and will never let her go,” says the source, who adds, “They’re just always looking for a way to out-drama Lauren Conrad. It’s their No. 1 goal in life!”

I think they need to get a life and worry about themselves…it’s not always cool wanting to be the center of attention all the times. Oh wait…that’s what they thrive on!

Ryan Reynolds is on the latest issue of Men’s Health…not on one cover but two! Now I can get twice the amount of Ryan! All I can think of is how lucky Scarlett Johansson is to have married such a hot Canadian! I can remember when I first saw Ryan, he was acting on this show Fifteen, it was on Nickelodeon. I thought he was the cutest kid on the show! (Tell me someone else remembers him in that show… ) In the interview with the magazine he talks about running the marathon and on being successful. Here are the highlights:

On running the marathon: “I finished [the race] 30 minutes faster than I thought I would. And an hour after that, I thought I would have to go to the hospital. Marathon running, for me, was the most controlled test of mettle that I could ever think of. It’s you against Darwin.”

On recalling if he thinks he’s a successful actor: “I try not to have that, I try to never have that. I try to program myself to be allergic to that.”

Jim Carrey was on the Ellen Degeneres show today to talk about his new movie…that looks super funny…Yes Man. Ellen thought she would play a bit of matchmaking with the couple. Since Jenny McCarthy was there she told her to come out so Jim could propose to her.

“You are such a great couple, and this is kind of putting you on the spot and kind of funny — and maybe not. He says you say yes to everything, and you’ll have been together for three years, and we thought that you should propose to her on the show.”

So Jim started talking…

“Wow, hun, I love you so much, and I know we never planned on doing this because we didn’t feel like we needed a third party to tell us that our relationship was sacred, but Jenny…”

He gets down on bended knee and mutters, “Will you….”

And then…you will have to see the clip to see what happens…

We all knew it wouldn’t happen since Jim is always saying that the two of them would never get married. Ellen has really went out of her way to have the 12 Days of Giveaways intros realistic. (And they are super funny because you can’t believe afterwards you almost fell for it.)

It looks like Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt were interrupted while picking out their first Christmas tree since they got married. Okay, seriously as I write this we are in the middle of a blizzard. Seeing these two caught in the middle of their make out session wearing summer clothes makes me feel sick. How can you have a Christmas without snow? Another month has gone by and now another sighting. This time on Samantha Ronson and Lindsay Lohan’s vacation in Cabo. Who even thought that Samantha would wear a bikini? She looks like the tshirt/boxer short combo.

I seriously think they are my new favorite celebrity couple. I wonder if they got married and this is their honeymooon?

Jessica Simpson seems so frumpy lately that I thought we all needed to see something like the way she used to look like before fame got to her head. I really liked her and Nick Lachey together. I still have their last season of their show to watch on DVD. But I just can’t bring myself to do it. Once I watch it, there will be no more Chicken of the Sea.
