I was more than stoked when I got to see this PSA. It sets up the whole movie, Daybreakers, starring Ethan Hawke and Williem Defoe, as a place where they are using humans for blood. The PSA urges citizens to turn in the humans so that they can use them. I love how movies (or commercials) make you feel like you are actually a part of their world. There is nothing like having to turn in the humans.
Here is the real synopsis: Two-time Academy Award nominee® Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.
Check out the website and Facebook page here. Also be sure to go to the theaters to see it on January 8, 2010.
Finally, we get the first glimpse of the Prince of Persia: Sands Of Time movie trailer. I think that the effects look great and I might actually want to sit through the whole thing…and that is because of the shirtlessness. I think that when they decided to make the movie, having Jake Gyllenhaal be shirtless through the movie makes me able to sit until May 28, 2010 to watch it.
Homecoming is hitting theatres on July 17th and stars Mischa Barton, Jessica Stroup and Matt Long.
The synopsis is the following: Mike (Matt Long) is a small-town star athlete who is the first in his family to attend college, receiving a football scholarship to prestigious Northwestern University. When he returns home over Christmas break to the people he left behind – his family and friends – they are all surprised to see him with a new girlfriend, Elizabeth (Jessica Stroup), a pretty rich girl from Chicago. No one is more shocked than Mike’s homecoming queen ex-girlfriend, Shelby (Mischa Barton), who immediately wants to be rid of Elizabeth and plots to take care of the problem. Our story takes many twists and turns as Shelby does everything it takes to get Mike back.
I got a chance to screen the movie today. I have to say that I was pleasantly impressed with the movie. It didn’t take long for the action to happen and when it did it did. There is a huge twist in the story that reminds me of Misery but this one is done so much better. I was actually yelling at the TV and sitting at the edge of my seat. I promise you won’t be disappointed going to see this movie!
There is nothing like this horror movie that’s for sure. Homecoming starring Mischa Barton, Jessica Stroup and Matt Long is hitting theaters on July 17th.

I love movies where the girlfriends go nuts on each other. See the trailer and stills after the jump…
