Ashley Olsen is the September 2009 cover girl for Marie Claire magazine. I love how old and stylish she looks on the cover. In the interview she talks about her fashion secrets among other things. Here are the highlights:
On her and Mary-Kate’s name: Mary-Kate and I never really wanted our names on a bunch of different things. It wasn’t us — it never felt like us.
On driving and the paparazzi: I love driving. But sometimes I’m not too good with it because I spend too much time looking in the rearview mirror if I know I’m being followed. You don’t respond like, ‘Oh, there’s paparazzi.’ It’s more like, ‘There’s a man, and he’s gonna attack me.’ That’s how your body responds.
On being born with a sense of style: I think you’re either born with a sense of style or you’re not. Either you care or you don’t. And we”—she and Mary-Kate—”love fashion. When we were going to NYU, I think that was the first time we were aware of the power of our personal style. Not the power of it, but the result of it. Between the big sunglasses and the Starbucks cup and the big sweaters, the hobo-chic thing, we were more shocked than anything.
You know I had thought of this great post last night about Miley Cyrus and her dog at the milkshake place and how Miley got to make her own milkshake and name it after herself. BUT THEN…I saw this picture. Her boyfriend, Justin Gaston, feeding her ice cream. And that look on his face is not just a friend face either! And Miley’s parents were there too….

I finally got a chance to watch the wedding video from Ellen Degeneres and Portia de Rossi’s wedding. I seriously started crying watching this. The song Today sung by Joshua Radin fit in so perfect that there is no way you can’t cry. The love between the two of them is so obvious. Congratulations Ellen…you rock!

We all know when the new season of Heroes starts the volume will be called, “Villains“. But, Tim Kring, has let us all in what the second volume of the season will be called, “Fugitives“. That makes way for a lot of speculating wondering what happens to the Villains to make them Fugitives. Can’t wait until the end of September to start watching the third season.
