Zachary Levi was at the NBC/TCA Press Tour last night. I am thinking that his beard is just getting crazier! I know that they are starting to film the second season of the show in less than a month. (But the show won’t air until March.)

Zap2It had a chance to interview Zach and here are the highlights (the interview was so funny!):

On if his beard is a unibomber thing: Don’t count that out. … What’s his name? Kaczynski? Krasinski? No, not John Krasinski from “The Office.” I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been to a press thing and someone comes up and says, “So, the new season of ‘The Office’ …” I’m not even kidding.

On how much free Subway he’s got in the last little while: Levi: Five tons. They sent in an entire truck with turkey breast footlongs, with everything.
Joshua Gomez: Remember that scene from “Indecent Proposal”? We did that with Subway sandwiches. Just on the bed with meat an cold cuts, slapping each other silly with … no?
Levi: I totally remember that. I had so much mustard in my … forget it. I’ll tell you something about that — the jalapenos don’t sit well. I can deal with the pepperoncinis.

On what Zach would be doing if Chuck got canceled: Hopefully I’d be getting another job. … But at the end of the day, and I know it’s so cliche to say everything happens for a reason, but if we had been renewed quietly in the night, nobody would have cared. But the very fact that they held on and we were on the chopping block really riled up our passionate, dedicated following to the point where they were a huge voice and part of the process.

I feel like now — we got picked up virally, all these campaigns got us a lot of traction and a lot of buzz. We need that, especially as a show that’s kind of struggling for every viewer. At the end of the day, what we were able to accomplish was being a championship for our fans. They’re our shareholders. Being at Comic-Con and having 4,000 people deep. I’m just stoked to have been part of the process.

On how long his 2.0 powers last: That has been outed, yeah. There’s a hitch in the giddy-up, as they say. Intersect 2.0 is not an exact science, and we need to work through that in the third season.

The All American Rejects are set to take over television this week with stops at both MTV and NBC. With their first stop, on July 11th, front-man Tyson Ritter and crew are set to make fans green with envy when they get a glimpse into the life of a Reject on MTV’s cribs. On Wednesday the 15th AAR will join hostess Alexa Chung on her new MTV show where the band will play “I Wanna” live for the first time on television. The Rejects will wrap up their week with a special performance on NBC’s The Today Show on July 17th.

I can’t wait to see Tyson on Cribs!

I think I’ve been (To quote Eddie Izzard) “Living in a cave, like you doooo”. Why? Because up until recently, VERY recently in fact, I am ashamed to admit that I had no idea who Jimmy Fallon even was. I’m sure somewhere my guy friends, and Taylor Blue are cringing, because they all know who he is, and are adoring fans. Now, Jimmy please understand, as soon as I found out that I was living in a cave, and under a rock, I started doing my research, which is why Jimmy Fallon gets my heart warming, selfless, celebrity of the day post.
For those of you that may not know who he is (and *Gasp* how could you not!) He has been on SNL,he hosts Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, and has been in Fever Pitch. He’s also a comedian (of course), actor (duh huh), and a musician. Yes, he is. He plays the guitar but will apparently only sing within the protected solace of his car, because to sing elsewhere could scar the general public. Oh come on, Jimmy it can’t be THAT bad, can it? But juuuust to be safe, think you may ought to actually sound proof that car? *wink*
Regardless of my lack of knowledge prior to this post, I really do have a lot of respect for the causes he supports, and found one of his quotes that I fell in love with.

” I didn’t act like I was there. I just got into the story.”

As he gets into his stories, he also gets into giving back. Proving that even as a comedian, he takes charity to heart.
The organizations he supports, starts with ALAFA – Apparel Lesotho Alliance to Fight AIDS. He also donates to FOOD BANK FOR NYC – The city’s major hunger-relief organization. Working to end food poverty and increase access to affordable, nutritious food for low-income New Yorkers. He also helps out with ROBIN HOOD – Targets poverty in New York City by finding and funding the most effective programs and partnering with them to maximize results. Last, but certainly not least, he also shows his support to STAND UP TO CANCER -Stand Up To Cancer is a non-profit organization/website/TV show that aims to raise money for cancer researchers and scientists to come together and reach their common goal: the cure for cancer.

I may not have known who he was before, but I am very aware of who he is now. He may be a celebrity who walks red carpets, and entertains thousands, but he’s also a very giving human being who brings positivity, and extends a hand to those in need.
Jimmy Fallon, Comedian, Actor, Musician, Self proclaimed atrocious singer, but definitely a selfless humanitarian.

I am obsessed with television. I’m really sorry. It kind of goes with the territory though when I love to focus on television shows. The networks have released most of the yes’ and no’s for the 2009-2010 season. (I’m still holding out for Chuck!)

I decided I would pick some of my favorites from each network and tell you if they have been renewed or not (Or could be renewed or canceled). And if you find a puddle of water at the bottom of the post don’t mind it. It’s just because I’ve cried over my canceled shows. (This year though I think the only one that I watch that is in jeopardy is Chuck.)

Fear not, Kenneth. You are of good stock! Of course…in this case the bubble wrap seems to be akin to catnip for you… (You’ve lost friends to snorkling, really?) BTW, blaming gypsies is the oldest trick in the book. My grandparents used to scare me about them coming inside if I didn’t lock the door! And they totally only came in when I left the light on with a note saying I had cookies inside!

In this segment, Kenneth impersonates people! Like Liz! “Okay writers, let’s do writing!” Lmao. That kills me.  He also impersonates Jack and Tracy with odd professionalism. I love the way Lutz fools Kenneth.

Tracy Jordan of TGS has new answers for us in his ‘Dear Tracy Jordan’ segment! He talks about: Thoughts on apples (No fruit racisim is allowed – that is wise!), Jellybean fantasies &  Swallowing spiders. It’s a short little vid that reminds you to smile, even though it’s Monday.

There is also a new ‘Kenneth the Web Page’ installment. See how Kenneth Parcell always gets what he wants using his very sneaky methods! (Although, the banana he ends up getting looks rather green, I don’t know that I’d want it.)

30 Rock airs on Thursdays on NBC.

I rated this five stars because golly, he deserves it!  30 Rock is on NBC Thursdays at 9:30 p.m. EST.

We’ve been good gals all year! Oh, is that a different holiday? Well, psh! Fine, we’ve been very naughty and we don’t care! We’ll STEAL the strawberries!

Isn’t that so cute? It’s like he has an inner game show host inside of him. I love when the spotlight dances around. I think Jack McBrayer should start doing voiceovers for everything! People will buy anything he sells.

I DO know a loaf of bread that was arrested for loitering. True story. Sad story, actually. That loaf of bread buttered himself. HAHA. …What are you saing, Kenneth is funnier than moi? That’s ridiculous! Go watch 30 Rock then, psh.

Jim Halpert on The Office

Taylor has a funny way of saying/typing ‘John Krasinski’ but I can’t do it justice. He DOES have a semi-hard last name to spell (until you learn it from doodling it on your notebooks 500 times a day, psh). So Taylor, I hope you grace us with that name again. Only YOU can do it justice – was it Krasingle? LoL. He’s not single, of course. He’s dating Emily Blunt (whom I adore) last I checked. And I check often Kidding, kidding!
