A very hot Ian Somehalder is in the November 2009 issue of August magazine. We all know he’s my favorite vampire on Vampire Diaries. I don’t think there could be anyone else for Damon except him. He’s so sultry all the time, even when he’s not talking!
Here are the highlights from the interview in the magazine:
On his ideal role: “The one I’m doing right now, actually.â€
On his transition from acting to modeling: “Fashion was a ton when I was young but, not being particularly as tall as one would need to be as a model (however I did fairly well) and not particularly seeing myself doing it for any length of time beyond it being a stepping stone into film and TV. The goal was: make money as a model and sink into acting training.â€
On keeping his private life private: “It’s all very simple, actually. I’ve been left alone for the most part really. It doesn’t seem that what I do off the set is of importance to anyone!â€
Now that Vampire Diaries has been given a full season’s order I hope Ian will be around for a very long time.

We have seen the covers for this weeks Entertainment Weekly and now here are the scans. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who are in the upcoming movie Twilight, are interviewed inside the issue.
My favorite saying from the article is this, how big of a flirt is Robert??
“More than once Pattinson was overheard asking Stewart to marry him. The actress, who’s had the same boyfriend since she was 16, just shrugged him off.”
From all the articles I have seen it sounds like Robert has fallen in love with Kristen. I wonder how she feels about it. I know lots of girls who would love to be her.

We can’t get the magazine Entertainment Weekly anywhere in Canada that I know of…and right now I am super happy I subscribe to this magazine! Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart cover all three versions of the cover in the magazine available tomorrow. I wonder which issue I’m going to get. Twilight mania is just getting bigger and bigger!

I miss seeing Anderson Cooper on The Mole. I loved watching it because he was on it. And now he covers the new issue of Best Life, out October 21. Here are some highlights from the interview…
Best way to prepare for a trip: “I pack virtually nothing.”
Best place to carry a passport: “My passport is a mess. I carry it in my front pocket, so it’s all bent. But I know where it is at all times. I find those pouches ridiculous.â€
Best DVD for a long flight: “The Professional is one of my favorite movies. Gary Oldman is so great in it. I watch and rewatch it.â€
Best cure for jet lag: “Whenever you have free time, sleep. I’ve found you can usually work round the clock for four or five days, and then you collapse in a pool of your own filth. But for five days, you can do anything.â€
Best food for the road: “I travel with a lot of PowerBars and foil packs of crackers and tuna. They get better the farther you are from other food sources.â€
Best rule to eat safely: “I hate being sick overseas, so I’m very careful. I stick with chicken, rice, and beans. I don’t get very adventurous.â€
Best writers for a journey: “David Sedaris. Augusten Burroughs. Cormac McCarthy. I really liked The />Road. I tend to read something that’s a complete diversion from what I’m doing.â€
Best way to relax: “No TV, no radio, no iPod … just sit in a place without any external stimulant, have a cold drink, and be calm. Be present where you are.â€
Best drink for that: “Nothing beats an ice-cold Coke in a glass bottle.â€
There is nothing like an ice cold Coke…it cures everything that ails you.

Reese Witherspoon is the November 2008 covergirl for Vogue magazine. She is showing off her new look and I think she looks great. Here are some highlights from her interview.
On boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal: “He’s very supportive. Suffice it to say, I’m very happy in life, and I’m very lucky to have a lot of really supportive people around me who care very much for me, and, you know, that’s all you can hope for in life. I am very blessed in that way.”
On her roles: “I’ve worked so hard to create characters that have dignity. And I think everybody knows that I have a very pro-woman message in my work — and in my life.”
On her charity work with Avon: “The more work I’ve done with children around the world, the more I realize the way to help them is by empowering women, creating financial opportunities, and that’s something Avon is very dedicated to.”
About the divorce in her new holiday movie, ‘Four Christmases,’ and her real life: “It really is a complication in a lot of people’s lives now. How do you see your mother and your father and not hurt anyone’s feelings? You know, I didn’t grow up like that. I mean, my parents are still married, and my grandparents stayed married, but it’s a situation my own children will have to deal with, so it was of interest to me.”

Scarlett Johansson is the November 2008 issue of CosmoGIRL, which happens to be the last issue of the magazine. Inside the issue she lets it be known that she is a political activist trying to get everyone voting. Here are some highlights of the interview included:
DO YOU FEEL LIKE CELEBRITY ENDORSEMENTS ARE JUST A NATURAL PART OF THE MEDIA SURROUNDING PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS? In this day and age, the media has this 24-hour news cycle that they need to fulfill their obligation to. And it seems like celebrities are a huge part of that, so it just seems unavoidable. It’s important to bring to light certain issues. If this spotlight is already shining on me and I feel like there’s a worthwhile cause, then why not direct it toward that? I hope that my [involvement] encourages the youth population to go out and inform themselves.
SO IS IT TRUE THAT YOU GIVE YOUR BROTHER, HUNTER, ADVICE ON DATING? You know what? It is true, actually. Who else has he got? I’m the first source, right? He gets a firsthand point of view from a girl his same age. I love it. I feel like it’s something nice that we can bond over.
WHAT’S THE FIRST THING THAT COMES TO YOUR MIND WHEN YOU HEAR THE WORD HAPPINESS? Things that make me happy are being with my friends and family, and also things like a challenge — using my brain, you know? That makes me feel good. When I’m challenged and when I feel like I want to get to the bottom of something, when I’m engaged, that makes me happy. Being engaged in something or bettering myself in some way.
Miss Johansson is now Mrs Reynolds since the interview. She married her boyfriend, Ryan Reynolds, in Vancouver.
