An adorable Robert Pattinson was on the Today Show this morning. Seeing all the fans happy to see him he was a huge success.  Robert was up bright and early to talk about how he wasn’t very comfortable shedding his clothes for the scene in Italy.

“I felt pretty goofy stepping out into the sunlight in front of 2,000 people in a town square, ripping my clothes off. I was essentially doing a striptease.”

I am sure all the extras that were watching loved it. And then he said how at that moment was when he understood Edward the most.

“There were so many extras in that scene who were ‘Twilight’ fans who had flown in just to be a part of it. It was a moment where I’ve felt the whole weight of anticipation, and I guess responsibility as well, of being Edward, for all the people who were kind of so obsessed with the stories. It was quite uplifting, and it was also very nerve-wracking.”

I can’t wait to see that scene. Well of course most of the scenes. Okay, the whole movie.

See the interview and more pictures after the jump….

Thank You John Mayer…

I am holding John Mayer primarily responsible for something…for letting the word douche be acceptable to be used on television.  I know because of him I use the word quite often to explain how people just don’t get him. I think he’s a great douche. But I know there are many people that don’t agree.

How did douche ever make it onto television and how did it become appropriate to even utter something like that? And then there are those two other words b*tch and a*shat. I heard Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles)  utter a*shat and almost died. I called up Willow Raine and was like did I really hear that? And then I rewound it a couple of times.

Thinking about it now it seems that the most of the swearing I hear is on the CW. I wonder if they think that it makes their channel more hip and exciting.  That’s what I do at night, I weigh all my options and say, “You know I am going to go with the channel that has more swearing in it because really that’s more of what I like.” I am totally wrong about that. I think that sometimes it’s used too much. If you can notice it it’s not being used right, at least in my opinion.

The days of George Carlin and his, Seven Words You Can Never Say On Television, might end up being phased into the television networks. I was actually watching it last week and I was roaring. I am sure that all those words will widely accepted by the end of 2010. So if swearing is something that is okay, when will nudity get here? We all know that those soap opera’s would be more exciting if there was some soft nudity. The housewives that take care of their kids all day (namely me) get bored and really need something to spice up their day. An actor going into the shower with a bare butt would work for me. That would energize my whole day.

Swearing and nudity. I think that would be a great way to go for the  television networks. I hope you are listening to me…

Gymnophobia

(Gymnos being the Greek word for “nude”) The fear of being (or seeing others) naked.

Okay, so I live under a rock. Had it not been for Taylor Blue I never would have known that Ashley Greene had nakey pictures leaked, because it’s not something that I care to know, honestly. If she wants to wander around naked, then good for her! I hate clothes as much as the next person, truly I do, but I am also aware and possibly jaded enough NOT to pose for pictures while in my birthday suit, and not to ever trust anyone with them, because let’s face it ya’ll.. Everybody has a price. EVERYBODY. It sucks but it’s true.
There are so many things I don’t understand in this world, but I’ll stick to this ONE topic for once, with no digressions, though Holden Caulfield would be very disappointed.
Why is being naked SUCH a big deal? I don’t understand it.
The human body is beautiful, male or female, tall or short, curvy or thin, it just IS.
My question is not, why did you do this?
My question is, why are the rest of us not?..(Especially Jackson Rathbone, and Kellan Lutz..HINT HINT)
If we were all to be more open, more accepting of nudity, then this wouldn’t continue to make headlines, and instead we’d be forced to read about things that actually matter for once. *Sharp intake of breath* How horrible.

Kate Winslet Harper's Bazaar August 2009 Cover

Kate Winslet is the cover girl for the August 2009 issue of Harper’s Bazaar that hits news stands on July 21st. Inside the issue she talks about her reputation, drugs, her breasts and nudity. Here are the highlights:

On her breasts: “If people are noticing my boobs in a movie and saying they do what real boobs do, then that’s great. I’ll be 34 in October. I can’t keep getting away with it… people have seen enough of my bum and my boobs. I have to put them back.”

On her Oscar moment: “I wanted to run over to my parents and do one of those Wimbledon moments when the person jumps from the court and leaps over the audience and the bleachers. I did have the urge to do that.”

On having a good reputation: “When everyone was out getting plastered, I didn’t do all of that. I was working. I was doing life. Now that I look back, I feel very lucky. I’ve never taken drugs, never been offered cocaine.”
