I haven’t written a post on something that I’m obsessed with lately. It usually ends up being a song I can’t get out of my head. Something that I haven’t heard before until someone showed it to me. Just because music is my life..just as much as my writing. Today, it’s She Will Be Loved by Maroon 5. I have this song on repeat right now. I know I had heard some Maroon 5 songs and I had always been okay with them but then a friend showed me this one and I was in love. If you don’t like the live version you have to check out the video. Doesn’t everyone wish they had someone that would do anything for them? And always be there for them waiting in the rain? I wonder if love like that exists in fairy tales or if it can be found for real?
I am a music freak. I probably listen to more of it in a day then is probably legal. Even when I went trick or treating tonight I had my iPod on. I should have been paying attention to the kids squealing and giggling. And especially because this will probably be the last year my daughter goes., But beyond all that I just wanted to listen to music.
Last week this song by Serabee came across my desk. I clicked the link to watch her youtube video, Driving Me Stupid, and I loved it! The first time even., She has an EP coming out on November 10th, and I’ll be writing about it before then because I’ve had a chance to listen to it. I have to say this girl is amazing…I love her sound. It’s so different. When I was listening to it the first time she reminded me alot of Marc Anthony. I love that sound.
Pop sensation Esmee Denters recently sat down for MTV.com’s The 5 to share a few things that people may not know about her yet. I know I am super late in posting this but don’t blame me. I bring good news. First, this song above I love. It’s Breathe Me by Sia. Someone was listening to it on Twitter and I instantly liked it. I literally can’t get enough of it.
So back to the contest I held a contest here. And it closed on February 28th and because life gets busy I can finally announce the winner in this post. The other day I was listening to the radio and this song came on, Look Out Below by Closure. Since then I can’t stop listening to it. I can easily listen to it back to back all day and not get sick of it. It seems that they are Canadian so that’s why they rock!
