Zac Efron is pretty popular in my house. Both of my kids adore him. My son can even do the routine Bet On It with Zac move by move. He also makes my daughter scream. And I like him because when I put on High School Musical I know I can get some peace and quiet. I guess he’s a god around here then!
Zac is in this weeks issue of Entertainment Weekly looking pretty adorable. Here are some highlights of the interview in the magazine…
On picking Johnny Depp and Leonardo DiCaprio’s brains: ”I would love to just sit down and talk with Leonardo DiCaprio and “Johnny Depp and pick their brains about their early careers,” Efron says, citing two recent actors who have made the leap from poster boys to Oscar contenders. ”They do it because they love it, not because they enjoy being famous. You have to have good foresight and be really careful. If you don’t adapt and learn at a very young age, you can really mess up.”
On taking a year off: ”I didn’t want to do what everyone else did,” says Efron. ”I thought to myself, ‘What can I contribute to the music industry?’ I can’t say that I would be proud of the work I would put down.”
On having his girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens, in the movies with him: ”After three movies together, Vanessa and I feel free to do whatever we want, and we’re just kind of silly and uninhibited,” he says. ”It felt like the best working vacation I’ve ever taken.”
Here are some exclusive pictures of Zac that Entertainment Weekly released…

Megan Fox is GQ magazine’s October 2008 cover girl. Megan seems sorta vain these days saying this was the only cover she approved of the many they had of her to chose from…WEIRD…Here are some highlights of the interview…
On not wanting to be famous right now: “I’ve done one movie. And it’s not a movie I want to stand on as far as acting ability goes. I mean—I’m not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I’m not Meryl Streep.
On getting nervous: “Before I go onstage anywhere, I take a Xanax now.â€
On hating gossip: “The other day, I said I eat a lot of cake, and that was the top story on Yahoo!â€
On why we shouldn’t be so prude: “Sex is something that everyone does, so why can’t I talk about it?â€
I don’t know what to say Megan…

America Ferrera is Seventeen magazine’s October 2008 cover girl. Here are some of the highlights of the interview.
On being friends with Sisterhood costars Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel: “One of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had with girl relationships was working with them on Sisterhood. I’d worked with other girls before and it was pretty catty. But this time, I thought, I don’t want to feel judged or defensive. So before we started shooting, I was like, I’m just going to show up to work and be professional – not their best friend. But a couple of weeks into shooting, Amber and I started talking. She’s a hippie and I thought we had nothing in common – and now she’s one of my closest friends!â€
On Gossip Girl being a bad influence: “Close, genuine female relationships are not what generally gets depicted in movies and TV shows. Like, if you’re watching The Hills or 90210, all the backstabbing shapes the way we act – you go to school, and you think your job is to find a sworn enemy and be jealous of each other. I mean, I love Blake [Lively]; she’s a wonderful friend of mine, but shows like Gossip Girl kind of condition us to be mean.â€

Lindsay Lohan is Marie Claire magazine’s October 2008 cover girl. Inside the magazine she talks about how happy she is now. Here is some highlights from the interview…
Lindsay on owing her happiness to gal pal Samantha Ronson: “I’m really happy. She’s a great person. And she’s a great influence on people around her. But I think that anything that’s changed [in] my life is because of me. I’ve gone through it, and I’ve learned to deal with it and I’ve made the decision to move forward.â€
Lindsay on her and Samantha’s matching tattoos: “Samantha has a bunch of stars, so I got that. She got this. [Points to a small heart etched on her hand].â€
Lindsay on being back in the studio: “This business is very ‘go, go, go,’ and you’re constantly surrounded by people, and then everything stops. So you can feel invalid in a weird way. I find [the recording studio] therapeutic.â€
