Pop sensation Esmee Denters recently sat down for MTV.com’s The 5 to share a few things that people may not know about her yet. Watch the clip to learn about her deep roots on YouTube, love for writing, intense sweet tooth, connection with Oprah and obsession with Egypt. Esmee’s debut album Outta Here is due out in the US early next year, and the title track is available on iTunes now.

I have to say that I saw this girl just singing on YouTube about a year or so ago I’m glad that Justin signed her. She’s amazing.
