I have to admit that I’m a bit bummed that I can’t go to see New Moon tonight. I have been growling every time I see someone tweet how they are counting down the hours until they get to see it. I was so excited when EA sent me this New Moon parody that made me forget that I wasn’t going to see it.

I am an avid reader and right now I’m reading, The Mortal Instruments Series. I’m almost done the second book but feel heartbroken about the characters so I must admit that I haven’t been reading as much as I used to.

I had heard about Nightlight by The Harvard Lampoon a couple weeks ago and how it was a parody of Twilight. I know that when I was reading it I had some silly questions about the characters. The book finally came out today and on the EW website they posted a chapter of it.

The main character is Belle and she is moving from Phoenix to where her dad lives, Switchblade. And the main character that she falls in love with is a computer geek named, Edwart. I have to say that I read through the first chapter quite quickly laughing and getting stares at the other people in my house. Here is my favorite excerpt from the first chapter.

It was then that I saw him. He was sitting at a table all by himself, not even eating. He had an entire tray of baked potatoes in front of him and still he did not touch a single one. How could a human have his pick of baked potatoes and resist them all? Even odder, he hadn’t noticed me, Belle Goose, future Academy Award winner.

A computer sat before him on the table. He stared intently at the screen, narrowing his eyes into slits and concentrating those slits on the screen as if the only thing that mattered to him was physically dominating that screen. He was muscular, like a man who could pin you up against the wall as easily as a poster, yet lean, like a man who would rather cradle you in his arms. He had reddish, blonde-brown hair that was groomed heterosexually. He looked older than the other boys in the room — maybe not as old as God or my father, but certainly a viable replacement. Imagine if you took every woman’s idea of a hot guy and averaged it out into one man. This was that man.

”What is that?” I asked, knowing that whatever it was it wasn’t avian.

”That’s Edwart Mullen,” Lululu said.

Edwart. I had never met a boy named Edwart before. Actually, I had never met any human named Edwart before. It was a funny sounding name. Much funnier than Edward.

I can’t wait to get the whole book and read and giggle through the whole thing! I hope they end up writing all the books. I know there is a couple of the characters like Dr. Cullen and Emmett and how they would make them really funny.

They say a picture says a thousand words and in this case it’s totally true. There are the teaser movie posters for The Cabin In The Woods coming out in February 2010. But by the looks of it it is parodying all the good horror movies. I love it when these scenarios happen and people do dumb things. These are sure to remedy the stupid horror movie mistakes people make.

I hope we find out more about it before February arrives.

Funny or Die has outdone themselves once again. They got an all star cast (Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Lance Bass, Nicole Richie, Joel Madden and Carmen Electra to name a few.) for this really funny skit. Zac’s uncle comes over and tries to do anything to fit into the already cool pool party.

It was so cute to see everyone get together for something like this. I found myself laughing more than once. And don’t forget to see 17 Again in theaters next week! To see it look after the jump.

Okay, I’m obsessed with Twilight…and yes I have to write about it at least once a day. I found this cute parody of Twilight..done in hand puppets. I can’t get over how talented these people are that make these!

There is so many Twilight parody’s around. This one is one of my favorites. I can see myself saying this to anyone I might think is Edward. And I already recite that vampire scene over and over again. (NOTE: I am not 12 so don’t accuse me of it. I’m just a little bit excited about the movie.)

P.S. This is only for fun. I am a Twilight fan and think it’s funny.

I am dying here..I can’t wait to see Twilight. I read the book, I read the reviews of the movie and now I want to go see it. It’s so crazy…I know what’s going to happen…

I love The Soup…they always bring such crazy things to the table. Here is there take on Twilight. It features my new lover boy, Chuck Bass.

I really think that Joel McHale from The Soup is one of the smartest guys alive. I love what he does to other people’s videos. This time it’s Britney Spears‘ Womanizer video. I’m not sure why no one hasn’t hired him to really produce a celebrities video.

Yes, I am not a huge fan of Michael Phelps. (I am just waiting for the hate mail!) But seriously, I am a little jealous of how much that guy can eat! He eats as much at one meal as I eat in a week! Why can’t I eat 12, 000 calories a day?? (Bravo for Michael who can totally make fun of himself and enjoy it..)
