Zac Efron And Breckin Meyer Funny or Die

Buddies Zac Efron and Breckin Meyer got together with Funny or Die to spoof Perez Hilton’s video he did the other day about getting beat up by that guy from the Black Eyed Peas. I’m not going to link it here I am sure everyone has seen it. And if you haven’t Breckin does a great impression of it.

In the video all Breckin wanted to do is couple skate with Zac’s girlfriend, Vanessa Hudgens. But when the time comes Zac ends up going back on his word. So all Breckin wants is an apology.

I am still laughing over this video. And I watched it about an hour ago. It’s that good! See it after the jump…

Proof That Blatant Ignorance CAN Come In A Very Pretty Package

Looking at the picture above, ones first thought may be,”She’s very pretty”, and I’ll admit, she is somewhat aesthetically pleasing, UNTIL she opens her mouth. I’m sure that most everyone has heard by now, her ridiculous reasoning for her opposition on gay marriage, and if not, you may want to crawl out from under that rock, or maybe not. At least under there you’d be safe from her weak, half assed argument, that made absolutely no valid point.
In case you haven’t guessed it by now, I am definitely for legalizing gay marriages, but more on that later. Allow me to reinforce why people who are this close minded, and ignorant should not be allowed to speak. Ready?
Perez Hilton *Shaking my head* Bless his little heart, had to ask her what her view was on legalizing gay marriages.
Her answer? : “Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”

*Still shaking my head* Are you serious? How does she remember to put her shoes on the right feet?
Now mind you, my beef with her is NOT that she is against gay marriage, even though I am openly supportive of it and the GLBT . No. My problem is that she is way too ignorant on the topic to have been allowed to try to argue her point. What point? Allow me to dissect the *sarcasm* FINER points of this answer for you.
“Same sex marriage or opposite marriage” Really? How is that a properly articulated sentence? A lot of these women are beautiful AND intelligent, how did she get to where she is speaking in this manner? Okay, next. “In MY country, in MY family” Alright, so what we derive from this is she lives in a completely different country, because in her country homosexuals are not allowed to be in love, and to be with the ones that they love? And she “believes that marriage should be between a man and a woman,no offense to anybody out there, but that’s how I was raised and that’s how it should be between a man and a woman”. It’s that kind of backwards, backwoods thinking that most of us have been lobbying against. Who are you, who am I, to say what love is to EACH individual? And why should we think that we house the right to judge someone based on who they love? It’s ridiculous! I’ve always thought that you fall in love, more based on personality traits than on what genitalia someone has.
What really disappoints me is that she is representing California, a state that is renowned for being more accepting and open minded.
And what saddens me even more, is when “Straight” people like that procreate, and raise more narrow minded people, how are we ever going to overcome all of this bigotry and hate, if it doesn’t start at home, with parents teaching their kids, that love is about acceptance.
You don’t have to believe in Gay marriage, or Gay rights, to each their own, but at least be able to have a more convincing argument than she did. And don’t even get me started on the “It’s an abomination against God” argument either, I could debate all day on that one.
In closing, the Gay community doesn’t tell you who to love, why should you try to tell them? If you don’t like their lifestyle, it’s simple, don’t live it. But don’t try to take away their rights as American citizens, or human beings even, that so many have fought and literally died for. What happened to “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness” ?  We ALL deserve that right. Regardless of  Sexual orientation, race, religion, etc! Search within yourself and find that ability to love and accept people unconditionally, that’s your homework for the year.

Even Gay Guys Love Shirtless Milo Ventimiglia

Posted by taylor blue on August 29, 2008 | 3 Comments

Milo Ventimiglia did an interview for the Advocate. I can’t get over how amazingly funny the interview is. Usually, he seems defensive in his interviews but this one was fun. Now, Milo can I interview you???

Here is most of the interview because I loved it! (Attention: There may be questionable language…viewer discretion is advised.)

Welcome to your Big Gay Following interview.
Thanks, man. I was excited to hear you guys wanted to do something with me. I was like, “OK, cool!” I’m completely flattered.

When did you first realize you had gay fans?
It was way before Heroes or Gilmore Girls. I was about 19 or 20 years old. I’d done a short film when I was 18 called Must Be the Music, where I played a gay teenager. I was shopping with my mom and dad one weekend, and these two gay guys came up and said they’d seen the film at a film festival and they just thought I was great. That was actually the very first time I’d ever been recognized for anything. I’m glad that it was my first meeting with a fan, because it wasn’t the standard 14-year-old girl chasing me down; it was men who were fans of the work. That was cool.

Did you get any teasing from friends for playing gay?
No, I never did. At the end of the day, I’m playing a part, and there are many parts to play. I would hope that if I’m playing a killer no one would frown upon or tease me for that.

How did you prepare for the role?
I didn’t do much preparation; I got the part and dove right in the next week, and we filmed in a club called Arena in Hollywood. I’d always had friends who were gay, straight — just a huge mix of friends—so I understood the story of what this kid was going through. It was less about him being gay and more about him meeting someone he’s interested in.
