I haven’t posted many pictures of Milo Ventimiglia lately. I’m sorry for that. So to make it up to you I thought I would include this picture from tonight’s Heroes called Into Asylum. I am so far behind on my Heroes watching but that should change soon because I bought a recordable DVD player. So now I can watch it on my computer instead of on the TV. That should work so much better for me.

Milo Ventimiglia is right smack dab in the middle of filming the first arc of the third season of Heroes…Villians. He took some time out of his hectic schedule to talk to iFMagazine about what’s he’s up to and what’s next. Here are some highlights of the interview.

On describing Peter in three words: I guess… unwavering, heartfelt, and strong.

On where he would like to see Peter go: Towards destruction. I think it would be fun to see that ultimate demise of a character, where they’ve been so built up and they seem to be so powerful that ultimately they just crumble.

On he prepares for the role: It’s kind of old habits by this point. I’ve been doing this long enough that I understand what I need to do in preparation. Peter’s a pretty straightforward guy, not too complex. There’s not so much about him that I need to prepare mentally for.

On how the short season last year helped the show: I think it helped us. I think we were going down a path that was going to be tough for us to get out of, so I think that the break gave us an opportunity to regroup, reassess what’s going on, and then take it in the direction that we’re supposed to.

On having fun doing the show: I enjoy it all. I enjoy really cerebral, heady drama, but I also enjoy doing action hero stuff. It’s definitely fun to play around with all that.

On what else he is working on: I wrapped a couple of movies during the break. One is called ARMORED, it’s about an armor-car robbery that goes wrong, with Matt Dillon, Laurence Fishburne, and Skeet Ulrich. I have another movie called GAME coming out with Gerard Butler. I’ve got a small part in that. I play a very disturbing character named Rick Rape. He’s not quite in control of himself, kind of a cross between a black widow and a bumblebee. I don’t know how much sense that makes, but he’s an interesting fellow.

[I also] released a comic book called REST. It’s a rad comic. It’s about a guy who’s a little down on his life, who’s introduced to an experimental drug that suppresses his need to sleep. His life sort of turns around, it goes from something that is down and despondent to something that is really, really inspirational. It’s based off an idea, a script written by Michael O’Sullivan, that my company owns. The script needed some work. We pitched it to a comic company and they picked it up and we’ve run with it. It’s going to be five issues, plus a trade paperback.

I am trying to get my hands on his comic book…I can’t wait to see it.

This is Milo Ventimiglia’s promo for Season 3 of Heroes. I can’t wait to see everyone else’s too. It looks like this season won’t suck at all!

There were so many new questions we all had at the beginning of Season 2 in Heroes. We especially wondered if Nathan survived the explosion with Peter. Here is a deleted scene in where Nathan’s family comes to visit him in the hospital.

We never really knew what power Hiro’s dad had…in this deleted scene we get to find out.

And lastly, they had an alternate ending for Season 2…here it is…

This really makes me miss the show…and Peter. September isn’t so far away now…

These pictures were taken of Hayden Panettiere (and Milo Ventimiglia) on August 5 on the set of Heroes. I don’t want to look too closely because I see Claire is standing in front of the Company and she is dragging her Uncle Peter out of the Company.( I also saw pictures from this day on set with Hayden working with Kristen Bell in front of the Company building. Now how does this all work together??)

How weird will it be to watch them play neice and uncle when we know they are going out? We will have to wait and see at the end of September.

Kristen for E! caught up with Hayden Panettiere and Milo Ventimiglia about the next season of Heroes. So read ahead for the SPOILERS.

Here are some of the details…

On the Villians: According to Milo and Hayden, we’re in a world of trouble with these new villains. Hayden said, “There’s many things much worse than Sylar (Zachary Quinto).” He’s a tough act to follow, but OK. And Milo said, “I think everybody [this season] is confronting something worse than Sylar. It’s something that is going to strike a chord and be close to Peter, what this big obstacle in the road is…[because] it’s a threat to everybody; it’s a threat to everything. I’m not going to say it’s four horsemen or one horseman, but there’s gonna be a power that comes in that everybody has to kind of band together to make sure it doesn’t run wild.”

On everyone working together again: Hayden said the original cast will be sharing lots of screen time: “A lot of us are working much more closely together—the main cast—which I think is what the audience missed about the second season, and I think what we missed about the second season…that we didn’t really get the chance to work with each other. We’re all crossing paths this season.”

On Claire’s life-altering storyline: Hayden hinted at a big bad that deeply affects our Claire-Bear and changes her future forever: “Something happens to [Claire] that’s actually quite frightening to her, and it plays a big part in who she becomes in the future and what happens to her. I wish I could babble about it now because I have a lot to say about it, but I can’t. But it’s something, yes, that manifests further about her ability that weighs heavily on her emotionally, and mentally, as a person. And I think it would [weigh on] anyone who would be going through a situation like that…I think Claire plays a very important role in what happens, and in that way she can be worse than all of them.” She also said of her character’s fate: “Future Claire’s very different, and it’s a very different world. It’s kind of, as you can imagine, a world gone a little bit awry. She’s a very different person.”

On Peter (hopefully he can be shirtless in every episode again!): Milo Ventimiglia shared a big fat clue about Peter’s storyline when the show resumes: “The one thing I can say is that Peter’s not quite himself this season…In the second season, Peter lost himself, and in the first season Peter was fighting himself, and in the third season, when I say Peter’s not quite himself, he’s not quite himself.” And just between you and me and the fly on the wall, I can tell you that a newly introduced character has something to do with that change..

On Claire and being a teenager: Seems like Claire’s still on the teen-rebellion tip this year. The way Hayden explained it was: “As a teenager, even younger than myself, [Claire is] still going through that turmoil with [her] parents, and she’s trying to break away, and she kind of starts to this season. She’s gotten to the point—and I remember getting to this point, too—where you’d ask [permission], but you knew what you were going to do, regardless what the answer was.”

On a love interest for Claire: Hayden said, “No! Not at all, not yet. I have not read past episode eight, so it could be in the future, I don’t know, but I think we tried that and it went…not so much. Personally, I’d rather be interacting with everyone else and be in the core of what’s going on, and what’s going on has nothing to do with relationships like that, so…”

On Peter falling: According to Milo, “[Peter is] the strongest of them all, that’s what everybody says—he’s the most powerful of them all, [and] at some point those guys have to fall.”

I am super excited about the new season and these spoilers make me more anxious than ever!

After seeing Milo Ventimiglia all decked out in scars yesterday I knew the new season of Heroes was a “in the future” kind of setup. Now we know what can possibly happen in the first three minutes of the premiere. If you can’t wait check after the jump.

Kristen for E! says this picture of Claire begins the season off…

Gee, well, I don’t have much to tell, other than the fact that in the first three minutes one of the lead heroes is going to bust a cap off at one of the other lead heroes. And oh yeah, the guy she pulls the trigger on just might be the guy she’s playing tonsil hockey with in real life. She also tells him (on cam), “I always loved you.” Whaaa?! Figured it out? I know you have, so discuss in the comments below! Oh, and even more shocking? We’re gonna see Claire-bear with dark hair and this also involves a shift in time. So very Lostalicious, no?

I am so Lost…please someone explain it to me…or don’t because then I can be surprised….
