My Thoughts On The Third Episode Of The Sixth Season Of Lost

(Seriously, could I make a longer headline for this?) I watched Lost again last night. Two weeks in a row when it aired. I think I might need to have my head examined. But I thought I might write down my feelings from the show last night, What Kate Does. It proved that yes, Kate does what she does best…running. In both time lines. There might be spoilers ahead if you haven’t seen the episode.
I was very happy there was only two time lines to keep track of last night. I had heard on Twitter it seemed to get more confusing with this episode but I have to disagree. It made more sense to me this week than it did last week that’s for sure. The highlights for me were the following:
How about the hospital scene when Claire was in labor and the doctor that came to help her was ETHAN! I mean what are the odds? And I didn’t pay attention to the opening credits so I didn’t see it coming either. And it seems that somehow even though things are happening in this new world it all is related somehow. Like Kate being there for the birth of Aaron anyways. What are the odds?
I admit that I cried when Sawyer told Kate on the island that he was going to ask Juliet to marry him. This means that they will never be together. I don’t think that I’m ready to accept that yet. And the ending…I have missed those amazing endings that Lost has. The evil Claire. How surprised was I?
I am missing the flashback/flashforward thing that has been a staple of every season. But I guess with this being the last season they have to try something different?
