Taylor Lautner is the cover boy for the October 2009 issue of Teen Vogue. (Where has this year went?) I think this is my favorite issue of the magazine yet! Inside the issue Taylor talks about Selena Gomez, fans and the future of his career. Here are the highlights…
On his alleged summer fling Selena Gomez: “She’s a great girl.â€
On Team Jacob fans: “I think fans would love anybody who played Jacob. I’m just lucky to be the one who got the chance.â€
On the paparazzi: “You can’t ever really get used to it, because it’s not normal to have people snapping pictures of everything you do. You just have to try not to let it affect you.â€
On career aspirations: “I really look up to Denzel Washington as an actor. I’d love to do a film with him one day in the future. That would be my dream come true. And I love the action-drama films like Matt Damon and Brad Pitt do.â€
You may know Selena Gomez from Wizards of Waverly Place, the new Disney movie she has coming out Princess Protection Program OR from her sweet little voice as she sings on theDisney Channel. However you recognize her, one thing is for sure, this young lady is setting a wonderful example for girls, and adults even, everywhere. She not only gives to ST JUDE CHILDREN’S RESEARCH HOSPITAL, but also UNICEF and as if THAT wasn’t enough, because both of those are AMAZING causes, she also helps out Kermit the Frog raise awareness of endangered amphibians. Look at this:
She really is an amazing young woman, and I am PROUD to see that she is setting a good example for others to follow in her footsteps. The young and impressionable, as well as the old and still learning.

This perfect picture of a fan made poster for New Moon has been circulating today. I got it sent to me first thing this morning. This just reminds me of how Taylor Lautner was meant for this role. And I might have to set him up with my teenage daughter at this rate. I wonder if she would object?
So who’s jealous of Selena Gomez now? I expect to see a lot of hands up!
Selena Gomez recently talked about her new song “I’m Sorry” it’s about a boyfriend that can’t get over his ex. Is she talking aboutNick Jonas? (It’s even beyond me how kids this age even sing and know about these things!)
“My favorite song that I’ve written is called “I’m Sorry.” It’s about a boy I kind of fell for, but he couldn’t let his ex-girlfriend go, and it was really difficult. And I felt like in a way, I wasn’t good enough. So the song is basically me saying that I’m sorry that it didn’t work out or that she used to be who she was, but you have to let me in and you have to know that I’ll do everything I can to make you happy and be the best I can be. So that’s probably going to be the first one that I want to work on for my record. It will probably be the only ballad on the record, because I want the other stuff to be really fun. But that is probably going to be the most heartfelt one because it was the hardest time for me. That story actually happened to me.”
I think it sounds like it is to me. What do you think? Has Selena fallen for someone that can’t get over his ex?
UPDATE: Selena Gomez has sent word to everyone that this song is not about Nick Jonas.
“It’s definitely not about Nick Jonas,†Gomez, 16, confirmed Saturday. “It’s about someone back home in Texas. When I read it, I was like, ‘Oh no this gossip has to go away!’ I haven’t known the Jonas Brothers for that long, but I’ve gotten really close with all of them.â€
I sure liked the story better the other way…it probably would have made more people buy the album….
