Fringe has an awesome spread in this week’s Fall TV Preview issue of Entertainment Weekly. I was happy to get my hands on the scans since I won’t get my issue in the mail until next week (and my mailman will fold the heck out of it and wreck it). I could only hope that Joshua Jackson and Anna Torv’s characters could get together. But I don’t think that will ever happen.
If you haven’t seen the first season I would go get the DVD of it that’s out now. I know I enjoyed every episode after I got over the creepy factor. But I loved how a TV show could make me scared. The second season premieres on September 17th.

I think two of my favorite actors have to be Jake Gyllenhaal and Natalie Portman. In the September 2009 issue of Interview magazine Jake gets a chance to interview Natalie. I read the interview and it was so adorable and of course I had to share.
GYLLENHAAL: So let’s begin. Mount Rushmore honors four U.S. presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, and Theodore Roosevelt. If you could add any person to Mount Rushmore, who would it be and why?
PORTMAN: This is an amazing question. Gosh . . . I have to think about that one. [laughs] Let me stew on it for a little while . . . I’m trying to think of someone who has amazing enough features, but it also needs to be the face of a person who is a meaningful human being. Obviously, when you think of Mount Rushmore, you think of Lincoln.
GYLLENHAAL: That’s hard. I don’t know why I started off with that question.
PORTMAN: Do you have an answer to that one?
GYLLENHAAL: No, I don’t. I was just thinking that because you do so much wonderful work in the world, you must have met so many amazing people.
PORTMAN: [laughs] I remember as a kid being really scared of the Smurfs.
GYLLENHAAL: The Smurfs?
PORTMAN: Because that bad guy, Gargamel, was so terrifying. I was scared of a lot of cartoons. I’m kind of wussy like that.
GYLLENHAAL: That’s interesting because you seem so fearless.
PORTMAN: Really?
GYLLENHAAL: Yeah. Looking at all these things that you’ve done and contributed to the world so far, I would have thought that the evil wizard Gargamel would’ve been something you could have very easily stepped over.
PORTMAN: Thank you for saying that, but I’m far from fearless. I’m afraid of everything. But maybe when you’re afraid of everything, it sort of seems like you’re scared of nothing.
GYLLENHAAL: What song best describes your current state?
PORTMAN: My current state . . . I’m trying to think of a song that feels like sleepwalking. [laughs] I don’t know. I’ve mostly been listening to dirty rap lately. That’s sort of my scene.
GYLLENHAAL: Your affection for dirty rap is something that people really don’t know about you, which I think is fascinating. You do incredible things for the world, and then you listen to just completely obscene hip-hop music.
(the rest is too graphic to put on this site but man, I was laughing so hard I was crying!)
I have a couple things to note about this interview: Jake is really awesome and I need him to help me with my next interview, he used to have Garbage Pail Kids cards (I had those too!), he said bada** in the interview, and even though this interview was long it was actually the first one I read all the way through!

Robert Pattinson is the September 2009 cover boy for the French version of Premiere magazine. In the interview with the magazine he reveals that the only place he seems to be able to get away from the screaming fan girls is on the movie set.
I love the leather jacket and Batman shirt he is wearing. But really the truth is that Robert looks adorable in anything.

Taylor Lautner is featured in the September 2009 issue of Love magazine with Kristen Stewart. But what I really loved was this picture of Taylor. I think that his portrayal of a sexy werewolf has won over many people. I was always a closet Team Jacob fan until I saw the trailer for New Moon. Okay, maybe I am lying. I love Jacob Black and I think that he is underestimated by a long shot. I hope that this helps just one person convert.
If you are still having doubts check out the HQ version of the above pic.

Natalie Portman looks amazing on the cover of the September 2009 cover of Interview magazine. I subscribe to this magazine and I can’t wait to see this issue. Natalie reveals her dirty little secret (probably that she likes to wear a mud mask) in this issue. Chace Crawford is also in this issue too. So from what I can see it’s a win win situation.

Charlize Theron looks stunning on the September 2009 cover of Vogue magazine. Charlize talks about her boyfriend and playing strong women in films. Here are the highlights:
On her boyfriend, Stuart Townsend: “We’ve been together for almost nine years, so by now we’ve kind of realized that we’re going to take this journey together.â€
On feeling like she’s shadowed constantly by a sense of remorse for some inappropriate thing she’s just said: “People tell me that cocaine makes you feel superhuman and you’ll say anything. Then when you come down like all of a sudden you have guilt. But I have that feeling innately, even without the cocaine.â€
On playing all strong women for films: I can’t tell you about that but I know how I feel about facing my own weaknesses, and playing into my weaknesses and finding that within my characters. My weaknesses are way more interesting to me than my strengths.â€
I love the photo shoot which was shot by one of my favorite photographers, Mario Testino.
