Hayden Panettiere is the cover girl for the August 2009 issue of Seventeen magazine. I love this cover of hers. She looks great in purple. In this issue she talks about her father, her parents and dating. Here are the highlights:
On her dad’s 2008 arrest for felony domestic violence against her mother: “I don’t know that I dealt with it any specific way. I mean, it’s hard enough going through it personally within your family, let alone when the entire world knows about it. It put my dad in this light that is so not him. You know your mind goes to: ‘He abuses, he beats his wife.’ For my dad to have that reputation now — which is so not who he is — kills me.â€
On protecting her parents: “I know that I’m strong enough to deal. I’m less concerned about myself. But when it involves my family or people I care about, I mean, I’ll fly off the handle for my family.â€
On dating: “I don’t know how to date. I’m not good at learning that sometimes you don’t like someone in that way — and figuring out how to deal with that. Because I don’t want to hurt his feelings. Right now, I’m just enjoying having fun. It’s when your not looking for anything that something winds up coming along, whether it’s a best friend or a guy.â€

Leighton Meester is the March 2009 cover girl for Seventeen magazine. It’s really crazy how these magazines think they have to cover their covers all with printing. I’m sure the picture of Leighton is pretty…if I could see it. Some of the highlights of the interview are these:
On what’s worth the splurge: Bags
On what she feels more confident wearing: Heels
On what her man’s style is: Indie/Pop
On what she never leaves home without: Her glasses
On what she could never lend out: Her sunglasses
On her favorite accessory: Rings

This season’s winner of America’s Next Top Model has her Seventeen cover and spread out. I think this is one of the better covers I have for sure seen, with my other favorite one being Caridee English’s. The spread is actually better than the cover. I’m was really torn this year, I think they had a lot more talent than they did in previous seasons of the show.

Okay, I hate JavaGirl for doing this to me…but I think I have a crush on Robert Pattinson. Oh, and then Pink Sheep of the Family published a really hot picture of him staring into my soul all hot and stuff. I feel so horrible since he is so much younger than me.
Seventeen magazine asked 17 questions to Robert and here are his sexy answers:
When was your first kiss? 12.
Who’s your celebrity crush? Kristen Stewart (he stars in Twilight with her!)
What’s a girl fashion trend that confuses you? Ugg boots! (It confuses me too, don’t worry!)
What’s the girly movie you secretly love? Pippi Longstocking. (I have watched that a million times!)
What’s your TV guilty pleasure? American Idol and X Factor.
Who would play you in the movie version of your life? I’d play it because I probably won’t be employed after this.
What’s your dream job? Being a pianist.
If you could trade places with anyone in the world for one day, who would it be? Someone who has lots of respect or power. George Bush, possibly. (Respect?? George Bush?? WTF???)
Who in your family are you closest to? My dog, Patty. (I love guys with dogs!)
What’s your favorite Website? YouTube (Not TEN Gossip…awwww)
What’s the fast food you can’t live without? I like all fast food, but my favorite is probably In-N-Out Burger.
What’s your worst habit? Speaking too much. (I have that problem too!)
What’s the last song you listened to on your iPod? I don’t remember the exact song, but it was something James Brown from the Black Caesar sound track. (My last song, Electric Feel by MGMT!)
What’s the last thing you bought? Toilet paper.
What did you dream about last night? Kristen [Stewart].
How much money is in your wallet right now? Thousands of dollars. (I need to meet this guy!)
Fill in the blank: When I was 17, I was ____________. So much cooler because I knew less about myself.

Ashley Tisdale is the November 2008 covergirl for Seventeen magazine. I think she looks cute and fresh on the cover! Here are some highlights of the interview included in the magazine…
On relationships:Relationships help you learn more about what you want. If one doesn’t work out, you just kind of look at it and go, Okay, well, this is what I did like and this is what I didn’t like, and this is what I did wrong, and maybe I need to be more like this. And so you learn things, and that’s why you grow. And you bring all the stuff that you’ve changed about yourself to a new relationship until you finally find that person you really, really want.
On seeing other celebrities: I get crazy over reality stars. When I see a star who’s an actor, someone like Jake Gyllenhaal, I don’t get very starstruck. I’m like, ‘Oh, well, I’m an actor too.’ And it’s cool because we’re all doing the same thing. But reality stars, you get to know their lives, so you feel like you know them. So, whenever I see a reality star, I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh!’ I get so freaked out over them, it’s funny.
On her decision to get into acting: [Being in the business] was never something that my parents forced me into. I was just found in a New Jersey mall and it just so happened that I started booking all of these commercials. My mom was like, ‘I don’t know, I guess this is meant to happen,’ but it’s always been left up to me whether or not I wanted to do it.

America Ferrera is Seventeen magazine’s October 2008 cover girl. Here are some of the highlights of the interview.
On being friends with Sisterhood costars Blake Lively, Amber Tamblyn, and Alexis Bledel: “One of the most wonderful experiences I’ve had with girl relationships was working with them on Sisterhood. I’d worked with other girls before and it was pretty catty. But this time, I thought, I don’t want to feel judged or defensive. So before we started shooting, I was like, I’m just going to show up to work and be professional – not their best friend. But a couple of weeks into shooting, Amber and I started talking. She’s a hippie and I thought we had nothing in common – and now she’s one of my closest friends!â€
On Gossip Girl being a bad influence: “Close, genuine female relationships are not what generally gets depicted in movies and TV shows. Like, if you’re watching The Hills or 90210, all the backstabbing shapes the way we act – you go to school, and you think your job is to find a sworn enemy and be jealous of each other. I mean, I love Blake [Lively]; she’s a wonderful friend of mine, but shows like Gossip Girl kind of condition us to be mean.â€
