Kanye West has been causing trouble all over the place. Tonight at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards he went up to Taylor Swift while she was accepting her first VMA and interrupted saying that it was Beyonce that had the better music video. I watched the clip so many times and even sat through the Awards again to see if it would change the second time around. But of course, just like the Titanic sinks every time I watch the movie this one did too.
I was on Twitter after wards watching the reactions. That place has really changed the way we do news these days. Anyways, I overheard that Kanye’s twitter account had been suspended. It was probably a really good idea they did that considering all the hate messages that would be delivered there.
And then Mike from Mike’s Bloggity Blog was telling me that Kanye is making an announcement about his tour with Lady Gaga tomorrow (Monday) and is on the first episode of the new Jay Leno show. So for the first time I’m thinking maybe he did it on purpose to drum up publicity for himself? I don’t know if it turned out the way he wanted since his performance at the VMA’s was canceled. Please tell me that he was just being stupid? It’s a whole lot easier to explain then what it is.

Last night, I live blogged the 2009 Teen Choice Awards with WillowRaine. Amazing people stopped by to chat with us while we did (@vampirefreak101, @dionroy and @damij and incidentally all of these people have an article on this site about them!). I know that it was pretaped and we all knew what was going to happen (Cough except for Miley Cyrus‘ performance) but it was great to share it with everyone else.
I have to mention this moment of the 2009 Teen Choice Awards because instantly after it aired WillowRaine told me to call her. She thought Kellan Lutz looked cute in the one shot. I have to admit watching it back Kellan is very cute. And Robert Pattinson stumbling over what he was going to say for winning Choice Hottie was adorable too. So this has to be one of our best moments of the Teen Choice Awards.

While I was watching the Oscars last night I was dreading hearing the winner for the Best Supporting Actor. I knew in my heart that it would be Heath Ledger, but I didn’t want to not see him able to accept the award. Heath did win the Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his amazing portrayal of The Joker in The Dark Knight. I loved his performance and I think he deserves every ounce of it.
Heath’s family accepted the Oscar for him saying:
His mother Sally Bell said: “Heath was such a compassionate and generous soul who added so much excitement and inspiration to our lives.
“We have been truly overwhelmed by the honour and respect being bestowed upon him with this award. Tonight, we are choosing to celebrate and be happy for what he has achieved.”
His sister Kate said: “Heath, we both knew what you had created in the Joker was extraordinarily special and had even talked about being here on this very day. We really wish you were, but we proudly accept this award on behalf of your beautiful Matilda. Thank you.”
These pictures of Heath were uncovered and were back in 1999 just before his movie, 1o Things I Hate About You, came out. He had just turned 20 and he had the world in front of him. Little did he know back then how amazing his life would be and how it would turn out.
