Chris Pine looked pretty fine today as he was leaving a pharmacy in Beverly Hills, California. I was watching the Oscars on Sunday night and I saw that he was presenting. I was so upset that he wasn’t up for an Oscar himself. I think that he was amazing in Star Trek. Dare I say that usually Star Trek has a hard time keeping my attention and now I have watched it a couple of times. I think that I’ll just have to award him with my own Oscar.

Do you hear that collective gasp in the air? I know I just did. There was an interview going around that Zachary Quinto said he wasn’t doing anything to do with Spock for two years. So of course everyone thought that meant he wouldn’t reprise his role as Spock. Now if that happened I probably wouldn’t be able to watch the next installment. Zach will eternally be Spock to me. But Zach cleared it up in his blog.
obviously i will be a part of any upcoming films… reprising my role as spock. what i meant was that in the meantime i won’t be making any public appearances related to the franchise – or doing any more auxiliary projects pertaining to the trek universe. i will be focusing my efforts on other projects and preparing to shoot the next film – which will be released in june of 2012… two years from now. hence the no trek for two years remark. worry not trekkers. it was a misunderstanding of context. i am not spock. but i am spock. all at the same time.

Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine were Trekking (I hope this is the right use of the word, please don’t shoot me.) it up at the 15th Annual Critics’ Choice Awards last night. They were up for the Best Acting Ensemble award for Star Trek but lost to Inglourious Basterds. They also lost the Best Action Movie award to Avatar. They were both really hard movies to be up against. But they are winners to me!
Zachary and Claire Danes presented the award for the Best Adapted Screen Play to Up In The Air’s Jason Reitman and Sheldon Turner.

Zachary Quinto was seen strutting his stuff last night leaving the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. Actually, Zachary doesn’t even really need to try, he is just naturally strutting his stuff.
I finally got a chance to watch Star Trek yesterday. And I am for sure a bigger fan of Chris Pine because of it. And Zachary did a great job…but I love his role on Heroes more. He needs to play the bad boy and all the time. (And if you get a second you have to check out the new pictures of Zachary Tyler Shields released. I am in love.)
Update: I never even noticed that it’s Tyler Shields behind Zachary!! It’s nice to see that they are BFF’s and all.

There is no one that can get away with looking fine, even if he is just getting coffee. I don’t know how Chris Pine does it. Okay, maybe Zachary Quinto could get away with it. And they even said that Chris ordered a teriyaki bowl with black cod and extra brown rice. Really? I have never even heard of black cod. It sounds super expensive. It also sounds like he could teach me a thing or two in eating amazing food.
I still have to watch Star Trek. It’s under the tree still waiting for me to watch it. And why the heck is my tree still up? I admit the decorations are off. I just have to take the tree down.
