Back in July, I posted the trailer for, Brothers, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Natalie Portman and Tobey Maguire. Now that the movie is hitting theaters on December 4th they released a couple of new stills. This movie looks amazing, especially with the cast that it has. The quick synopsis is that a man (Jake) comforts his sister-in-law (Natalie) and children after her husband (Tobey) goes missing in Afghanistan. I’ve watched the trailer more than a couple of times already.
Here we are at the tenth episode already of the last season of Supernatural, it looks like it will be the last season after all. I haven’t heard any rumors of it being otherwise. I will have to soak up the last season as much as I can.
The tenth episode is called, Abandon All Hope, and it goes like this: Sam (Jared Padalecki), Dean (Jensen Ackles) and Castiel (Misha Collins) track down the Colt and head off to find Lucifer (guest star Mark Pelligreno) to send him back to Hell. It’s a hunters’ reunion when the crew joins forces with Bobby (Jim Beaver), Ellen (guest star Samantha Ferris) and Jo (guest star Alona Tal) for what could be their last night on Earth.
I have to thank the CW for some really cute still of Jared for once! It’s about time Sam gets some love too!
Can you believe we are already at episode 8 of the season? I think that’s crazy talk! I was caught up with Gossip Girl but now I’m lagging again. I just need to have time to watch all my shows.
Episode 8 is called, They Shoot Humphrey’s, Don’t They?, and it goes like this: Not satisfied with just being Queen of Constance Billard, Jenny (Taylor Momsen) sets her sights on becoming the Queen of all the Upper East Side by landing the hottest escort for Cotillion. Nate (Chace Crawford) and Chuck (Ed Westwick) plot to help Serena (Blake Lively) and Blair (Leighton Meester) repair their damaged friendship. Dan (Penn Badgley) is upset when Olivia (guest star Hilary Duff) contemplates leaving school for a movie project.
Orphan is now out on DVD & BluRay. I watched the movie yesterday and I have to say that I was very impressed. I was on the edge of my seat through the whole thing. I was very glad it was during the day because I was freaking out. And the twist in the movie…I wasn’t expecting it at all. Get it on Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand & Digital Download on October 27th. You can also get it at the WBShop.com here.
The movie has two really strong characters….the girl that plays Esther, Isabelle Fuhrman, and the little girl that plays her sister, Max, Aryana Engineer, I was crying for little Max through the movie! It also stars Vera Farmiga and Peter Sarsgaard.
The synopsis goes like this: Tragedy seems to follow nine-year-old Esther. She was orphaned in her native Russia. Her last adoptive family perished in a fire Esther barely escaped. But now the Coleman family has adopted her, and life is good. Until a classmate takes a serious fall from a slide. Until an orphanage nun is battered to death. And until Esther?s new mom wonders if that tragic fire was an accident. From Dark Castle Productions comes Orphan, bringing stunning new twists to the psychological thriller and locking audiences in a tightening vise of mystery, suspicion and terror. You?ll never forget Esther. So sweet. So intelligent. So creative. So disturbed. Check out the official site here.
I am so glad that Vampire Diaries is coming back soon. I am going crazy without my weekly fix of the show. And now that I have cemented my Team Damon status by posting about him I am more excited.
The eighth episode of the season is called 162 Candles and it goes like this. On his birthday, Stefan is surprised by a visit from Lexi, one of his oldest friends. Still upset by the events at the Halloween haunted house, Elena does her best to stay away from Stefan, but Lexi gives her some unsolicited relationship advice. Elena and Jenna are surprised by a change in Jeremy’s behavior. At Damon’s insistence, Caroline tries to get his medallion back from Bonnie. Finally, Damon’s offer to help Sheriff Forbes has sudden and tragic results.
I can’t believe we are already on Episode 8 of Gossip Girl this season. Time keeps on going so fast! I have to admit that I am finally catching up and with some shows not showing new shows until November I can at least try to catch up. Okay, maybe in a perfect world I could.
The eight episode is called, The Grandfather: Part II, and it goes like this: Olivia as a guest on the Jimmy Fallon’s talk show says something she regrets and tries to hide it from Dan. With elections coming up, Nate suspects his grandfather will do everything he has to get Trip on the congress. After another fight with Serena, Blair gets a new friend and takes her to an election night party at Chuck’s hotel, just to make Serena jealous
