Ryan Cabrera was seen strolling through SoHo in New York City today. I have to say that I love his shoes. I’m not sure if I would like it though if they smooshed my feet together, I would begin to feel claustrophobic then.
A friend of mine, Dion Roy, is going to be opening up for Ryan on January 4th at the Highline Ballroom. If you want to get tickets you can get them here. I bought my ticket and an autographed CD today. I only wish I could be at the show, but since it isn’t possible the least I can do is support him because I’m so proud.
There is no one that is more happier than I that Chuck was renewed for a third season. And even if it’s only 13 episodes that’s better than zero. Zachary Levi wrote a message to the fans thanking us for all of our support.
“To sit back and observe the way in which Chuck was renewed was simply remarkable. I am so blessed to be a part of producing something that, when it appears to be at risk of disappearing, those loyal to it join in solidarity and literally speak, march, work, buy, share and will it back into existence. To know that such a huge part of our saving grace was comprised of the media and circle of critics, allows me to appreciate it even further. I’m proud of our crew, and I’m proud of what we’re a part of bringing to all of you. But most importantly, I’m proud of you, those that fought. Because not only did you resist the apathy that befalls anyone faced by such adversity, you did so by believing your words and actions mean something. That you mean something. There is such controversy on Prop 8…and if it were to go through it would ban gay marriage. I have changed my opinion of how I feel about it in the last year. I support gay people wanting to get married. Love is such an amazing thing and so is marriage. How come straight people can get married 4 or 5 times over and over but gay people can’t get married once. It doesn’t seem fair at all. Sen Sarah Palin wants to ban gay marriage on her show Ellen Degeneres ranted about it.
“I told you all I’ve been watching CNN a whole lot lately. I’ve been watching it way too much I think because they’ve invited me to their Christmas party.
She continued, “I don’t know if you saw this, but Vice Presidential Candidate, Governor Sarah Palin says she’s that in favor of a federal ban on gay marriage. Basically wants to change the constitution. So if you’re wondering, I’m sure you are, how I feel about this. I don’t like, I don’t like it. I don’t agree. Maybe it’s because I’m gay that I think we should all be equal. but I feel that we’re all equal.
“I don’t know what people are scared of maybe they think that their children will be influenced. I gotta say I was raised by two heterosexuals. I was surrounded by heterosexuals just every where I looked heterosexuals and they did not influences. I mean I dabbled in high school, who didn’t? Everyone dabbled, ya know?
“People are gonna be who they’re gonna be. And we need to learn to love them for who they are and let them love who they want to love.â€
I think Ellen is amazing at changing people’s opinion of how they should feel.

Family and Friends
Dear Family, Friends and wonderful fans.
I have recently been going through a lot of mail from you guys and I wanted to take this opportunity to say a few things.
First, I would like to preface by appologizing for any late replies to mail I have been sent. I try to get to it all asap but sometimes it goes through a number of different channels before I even see it and time can slip away.
But the main reason for me writing is that I have found myself totally overwhelmed at the amount of support you have all been giving me in this time.
Its true, to have something you put your heart into taken away can be difficult, painful and sometimes confusing. In this instance all of the above. But never do you expect to receive anything like the amount of cards, letters and notes of appreciation and love that I have recently. It has been awesome!
Thank you all so very much.
Only too well do I understand the attachment so many of you had to Moonlight and to Mick, Beth, Josef and the gang but now that they have been laid to rest I can only hope you will all follow me into my next exciting adventure, whatever that may be.
We all fought so hard.
We all worked so hard.
I guess some things are simply out of our hands.
I look forward with great anticipation to giving you all the news of the next chapter in this crazy career of mine!!
