In what is breaking news to me, because I always held out on the hope that The Hills wasn’t staged, I get my confirmation from Lauren Conrad that everything I believed was a lie. Yes, I’m being dramatic about it, because well they faked it so I am going to now too.
Do you remember the episode where Lauren was at work and Spencer Pratt called and said sorry about spreading the sex tape rumors so that she would go to the wedding? I guess that Lauren never even got an apology and it was all staged! Lauren explained it all on The View.
“To be perfectly honest, I wasn’t on the other end of that call,†Conrad told The View co-host Elizabeth Hasslebeck.
“What do you mean?†Hasslebeck asked.
“That was filmed and I wasn’t on the other end,†Conrad reiterated. “I didn’t even know about it until [afterwards],†Conrad added afterwards. “So no, I didn’t get an apology, he’s lying.â€
I can’t believe that they would lie! And all the time I thought that everything really happened that way! No wonder Lauren wants out!
She also said that she went to the wedding just so she wouldn’t regret it later. Not because Spencer apologized. That just makes me wonder what else is really fake.
Paris Hilton was on The View to talk about her new show My New BFF or something like that. Which I hate to admit might actually be a good show. Everything was going good until they started talking about voting. Joy Behar started it all…
“You’re not going to be able to vote, are you?†Joy asked Paris pointedly. “I have a friend who was in the slammer, he can’t vote. Weren’t you in jail?â€
“I can vote,†Paris replied uneasily.
Whoopi explained to Joy that losing the right to vote only applies to certain people convicted of a felony.
“What was your thing? Yours was a misdemeanor or something?†Joy persisted.
“No, it was driving with a suspended license,†Paris answered.
“You can still vote with that?â€
“Yeah, you’re still an American, yeah,†Whoopi replied.
I was so glad Whoopi Goldberg chimed in. It doesn’t sound all that bad but did Paris really deserve to get attacked that way? I think that she will only vote for the one with the best clothes on anyway, and she probably won’t vote for the wrinkly white hair guy…so it’s all good!
I don’t usually watch The View but it was on instead of what I usually watch at that time. And the New Kids On The Block were on so I said why not. I have to say watching the beginning of that show isn’t enjoyable anymore with Elisabeth Hasselbeck attacking everyone. But, I kept watching.
Watching this New Kids interview was kinda cute. Elisabeth was acting like such a teenager. It made it really interesting and I was waiting for Joey Joe to say stop already!! LOL. But she got through it. You don’t want to see them singing so I didn’t include that part. It just ruins the interview then. (Oh yeah, watch what Jon Knight says he’s been doing for the last 15 years…very interesting….)
Jessica Simpson was on The View June 25…it seems to me something something fishy is going on. Jessica was quoted saying that she still loves Tony Romo…is it because she’s pregnant? Now stay with me on this one. This dress…do you think it looks a little frumpy on her? I think that dress would be good for my daughter or my grandmother to wear. EIther way it’s pretty bad. So do you think she’s pregnant?
