As promised, my top TEN post for the day. I have chosen to do Actors over 40, since people tend to forget just how sexy aging gracefully can be.
10.) Gerard Butler: He won you over in PS I Love You, I can definitely see why.
9.) Anderson Cooper: Sex appeal and intelligence. Rare, and yes please.
8.)Tom Hanks: Multi talented, and an understated sexy.
7.) Barack Obama: Tell me who acts more convincingly than the President, go ahead, I’ll wait. Mhmm, that’s what I thought. Anyway, sexy and in power. Nice.
6.) George Clooney: He has been on every sexy list since he was discovered I think. May as well keep him around, yeah?
5.) Hugh Jackman: I can’t explain the quiet sex appeal that IS Hugh Jackman. But it’s there.
4.) Hugh Laurie:Maybe it’s his sarcasm, maybe it’s his wit, maybe it’s his looks, or hell all three, all I know is ME-YOW.
3.) Mel Gibson: If I didn’t put Mel on this list,my own momma would get a hold of me. So, mom, this one is for you!
2.) Hugh Grant: His smile, his accent, he’s just very appealing to me.
and number one, for me, is the epitome of sexy over 40:
1.) Richard Gere: I’d be his Pretty Woman, you know, minus the whole prostitute thing. I,uh, wouldn’t want to have to do THAT.
I am really enjoying my subscription to Entertainment Weekly this year. They are doing an amazing job, and with covers like this I am really happy! Vin Diesel and Paul Walker are the cover boys for the upcoming April 17th (Happy Birthday to me!) issue of the magazine.
Who would have guessed that The Fast and the Furious would do so good? I’m sure that having Vin and Paul reuniting had a great deal to do with it. Vin has been busy working on releasing two video games and even being a father. Now doesn’t he look really adorable for being a dad?
Vin says that with the help of Tom Hanks he is on a major high on how his career is now.
“Tom Hanks once told me that it doesn’t matter where you are in your career, you’ll always have highs and lows. This just happens to be a high. I’m just so appreciative and grateful that all these people that I talk to, verbally and nonverbally, through my films all showed up at the theater. They came out in droves—double the amount the studio thought we were going to appeal to. That is such a cool feeling. I’m just high on life at the moment.â€
I’m sure anything with Vin’s name on it will succeed.
I’ve heard so many mixed reactions about The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button and now that the Oscar nominations came out and the movie took away 13 noms I have to wonder. I heard someone on the radio say today that she thought it was a long movie and she kept falling asleep…even though she was on a date. And she even told her date to wake her up when Brad Pitt got hot. (She was never woken up!)
Funny or Die has the right idea by showing you that The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button is really like the movie Forrest Gump. See for yourself…it’s so alike it’s eerie. (I guess I’ve already see the movie because I’ve seen Forrest Gump a million times!)
I love those your body either gets older or younger and you can do whatever you want teen movies. Big was my favorite movie for the longest time because of that, and I couldn’t stop crying everytime Tom Hanks sang that song to his mother. And then there was 13 Going On 30, which I totally loved! Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo are awesome together.
When I saw the trailer for 17 Again I thought of both those movies right away. But they have Matthew Perry and Zac Efron in them. And Zac looks like he can pull off something other than High School Musical. He may be able to actually move on from that Disney image. You’ll see me watching this movie for sure. Girls love watching movies that take place in highschools…I’m not exactly sure why. Probably because we all wish we could do it over again…
Oh yeah, the movie won’t be out until April 17, which is two days after my birthday…that’s such a long timw to wait!
