Two new stills have been released for the movie, Daybreakers, that is being released in theaters on January 8th, 2010. I can’t wait to hear about these daybreaker vampires.
Two-time Academy Award nominee® Ethan Hawke plays Edward Dalton, a researcher in the year 2019, in which an unknown plague has transformed the world’s population into vampires. As the human population nears extinction, vampires must capture and farm every remaining human, or find a blood substitute before time runs out. However, a covert group of vampires makes a remarkable discovery, one which has the power to save the human race.
These new stills make the movie seem even more creepy.
I have to admit that I was pretty excited to watch Eleventh Hour. This Jerry Bruckheimer produced series is only available through the WBshop.com. And it features all 18 episodes and 6 discs for just $34.95.
What surprised me the most was how this reminded me of Fringe. I’m new to all these Sci-Fi kind of shows, but now because of Fringe I’m way more accepting of the whole thing. This show has everything that I look for and more.
The synopsis for the show goes like this: Legendary producer Jerry Bruckheimer is back again in the nick of time with Eleventh Hour. This Complete 6-Disc, 18-Episode Series stars Rufus Sewell as a brilliant biophysicist and special science advisor to the government investigating scientific crises and oddities – everything from cloning to cryogenics. With absolute jurisdiction and a resolve to apprehend those abusing and misusing scientific discoveries and breakthroughs for their own gain, he’s called in as the last line of defense. Marley Shelton co-stars as the decorated FBI protection officer assigned to watch his back. Based on the British miniseries by acclaimed writer Stephen Gallagher, the suspenseful series follows the unlikely pair as they crusade to protect the substance of science from those with nefarious motives.
I found a great trailer of the show on YouTube even.
Back in June the first movie poster and trailer came out for Daybreakers. It’s a vampire movie and we all know they are popular right now. I thought based on the trailer that it would be something I would love to see.

Seeing Ethan back would be like a dream come true. Check out the still of him below. And catch the movie out in theaters on January 8th, 2010.
Gerard Butler was on hand last night on the red carpet at the Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles for the premiere of Law Abiding Citizen. I have written about this movie a couple of times and I think it’s going to be one of Gerard’s best…well other than P.S. I Love You of course.
In Law Abiding Citizen, Clyde Shelton (Gerard Butler) is an upstanding family man whose wife and daughter are brutally murdered during a home invasion. When the killers are caught, Nick Rice (Jamie Foxx), a hotshot young Philadelphia prosecutor, is assigned to the case. Over his objections, Nick is forced by his boss to offer one of the suspects a light sentence in exchange for testifying against his accomplice. Fast forward ten years. The man who got away with murder is found dead and Clyde Shelton coolly admits his guilt. Then he issues a warning to Nick: Either fix the flawed justice system that failed his family, or key players in the trial will die.
Soon Shelton follows through on his threats, orchestrating from his jail cell a string of spectacularly diabolical assassinations that can be neither predicted nor prevented. Philadelphia is gripped with fear as Shelton’s high-profile targets are slain one after another and the authorities are powerless to halt his reign of terror. Only Nick can stop the killing, and to do so he must outwit this brilliant sociopath in a harrowing contest of wills in which even the smallest misstep means death. With his own family now in Shelton’s crosshairs, Nick finds himself in a desperate race against time facing a deadly adversary who seems always to be one step ahead.
Check out a brand new trailer for Andrew McMahon’s “Dear Jack.” The documentary opens on the day Andrew is diagnosed with Leukemia and continues on through the life-changing and intensely personal events that follow. The film also includes flashes back to Andrew’s childhood, the making of the Jack’s Mannequin album and his collaboration with Tommy Lee, as well as rare live footage and the chronicling of his relationships with two very important people in his life, his sister and her best friend. “Dear Jack” is a raw look at the battle that is Leukemia and the hope that can be found in hard places.
One of the movies I’m looking forward to is Stepfather. The trailer was released back in July but finally we get to see some stills. It hits theaters October 16th. In the film Michael Harding (Penn Badgley) returns home from military school to find his mother (Sela Ward) happily in love and living with her new boyfriend, David (Dylan Walsh). As the two men get to know each other, Michael becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand. Is he really the man of her dreams or could David be hiding a dark side?
Amber Heard is also in this movie. I love her too. Remember that TV show she was in a couple of seasons back? Hidden Palms. I loved that show and then they canceled it. That is a whole other story in itself.
