Between school, recording sessions, and her recent visit to Canada, singer/songwriter/actress KateVoegele has certainly been busy lately! In a new video blog posted on her Myspace page, Kate updates fans on what’s been going on in her life and fills everyone in on her upcoming tour dates. Check it out here. She will be touring across the United States beginning October 7th, and will head to Germany, France, the UK and Ireland at the end of November. I am seriously pissed at Nina Tassler and CBS. They had their Press Tour which is okay, I guess, besides trashing people…
Nina talked about how CSI will be okay with William Petersen gone…first Gary Dourdan and now him…RUDE. It will not be okay because I want Gary back!
Then she said confidently that Britney Spears did not save How I Met Your Mother…they just wanted you to think it was in danger…
Oh, but that’s not the best news…this is quoted…because I am even to pissed to write about it…
Tassler downplays the fan outcry in the wake of the show’s cancellation, maintaining that most of the feedback was “actor-centric.” She also says she’s not getting a lot of mail and doesn’t regret the decision.
She’s not getting a lot of mail? Has she not heard the bashing of CBS that they won’t listen? She must be saying that that mail be redirected because this is not right. And actor-centric? And so what if she did! That damn cast was the best cast out there! Alex O’Loughlin put his heart into Mick St. John and made us believe.
You are a dirty person Nina, and you should be ashamed for the way you treat the fans of Moonlight. It’s okay…what comes around goes around. (Meaning your ratings!)
Big Brother 9 wasn’t the best season…but it has been the most intriguing. Where are the final 6 now?
James: James, it appears, has been a busy man since the season ended. Mostly, he’s been partying. He stayed in Los Angeles for a little bit, then he went back to Richmond, Virginia for a while. He said he was going to start his bike trip again, traveling the world, but the plan is on hold. He’s back in Los Angeles right now (supposedly) and he’s postponing the bike trip until after Big Brother 10, which means he probably is in talks to be on House Calls for the upcoming season.
Natalie: Natalie is back in Oregon, working as a bikini barista. She’s painting mermaids and self-portraits in her down time (I know), and contemplating a move to Los Angeles.
Sharon: Apparently, she’s back together with Jacob. Seriously, WTF??
Sheila: From the best I can tell, Sheila is simply back at home with her son, enjoying her freedom.
Ryan: Ryan and Jen went on a Caribbean cruise soon after the season ended. They have moved in together, and Ryan is going right back to school. He is scheduled to finish up in the winter.
Adam: Baller is enjoying life. While he was inside the Big Brother house, Adam was fired from his job, leaving him no place of employment to come back to. He doesn’t really need a job right now, considering he won the $500,000 grand prize on Big Brother. It appears as if he’s returned home to Florida after a bit of a vacation. He has rescinded his commitment to give h1alf his winnings to charity, which probably has something to do with how much of the 500k will be taxed.
I can’t believe that some of the people went back to being normal people….
After publishing the post about Moonlight being over I got flooded with comments…and after further digging I found a rumor that DirecTV may be considering picking it up. I finally had a confirmation when I followed a link that someone had posted about my site in a Moonlight forum. Here is what they had to say…
We’ve also been contacting DirecTV to see if they would consider partnering with one of these networks – similar to what they did with NBC to bring Friday Night Lights back for another season. Yesterday, we learned that DirecTV has asked for a meeting with Silver Productions. Now, we don’t know what, if anything, will come out of this meeting, but given the fact DirecTV contacted Leeser about putting up a poll to find out how many people have DirecTV and how many would or would not switch if they did anything for Moonlight gives us a small glimmer of hope for the show. There was also talk by Executive Producer, Harry Werksman, that a Plan B – which would be a Moonlight movie – could be a possibility. So, while the show will not be returning to network TV in the fall, many of us are hopeful that we can get it back in some fashion.
This is really good news! I just hope that a home is found soon. I can’t live without my Mick St. John.
