I know that I don’t write about John Mayer as much as I used to but I have been following his latest projects behind the scenes. He’s been working on new music and I was just dying to know what it might sound like. I finally got my answer when he finally debuted his video for the song, Who Says. (If you look closely you can see his apartment featured in the video.) I like this new song. And it has a lot of guitar. I love my guitar.
Dead Man’s Bones is a band consisting of Ryan Gosling and Zach Shields. And literally from the first time I heard Ryan sing I knew I was in love with their music. This new song Pa Pa Power has been leaked and I’m not disappointed. I don’t think I ever could with them.
Ryan was talking to Spinner about going on tour and how he felt nervous…
“You’re making me nervous. It’s cool. It’ll keep it new. There’s a fear factor involved, because we have a show every night for a month. Every night will be a new adventure.”
I wish that they were stopping by my neck of the woods and I could go see them.
The All-American Rejects posted a new video to their YouTube channel explaining Tyson Ritter’s recent health problems. With several stories circulating after canceling a handful of dates on the Blink 182 tour, Tyson took to YouTube to clear up what happened over the past few weeks. Watch Tyson recount the story of getting an infection in his knee that spread to his bloodstream. Although he dropped weight in the hospital, the AAR front man is on his way to recovery after surgery and in great spirits. Check out the clip here to learn what fans can expect next from AAR and stay tuned for the forthcoming video for their single “I Wanna” which is available on iTunes now.

Honor Society have set the foundation for a breakout year in 2009. They have been named a Band To Watch by Rolling Stone, “Buzzworthy Artist” by MTV and earned an opening spot on the North American leg of the Jonas Brothers World Tour. In anticipation of their forthcoming debut album Fashionably Late, Honor Society released the single “Where Are You Now” which was featured in the movie Bandslam starring Vanessa Hudgens and Aly Michalka. Co-written by John Fields (Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Eat World) and executive produced by the Jonas Brothers, Fashionably Late showcases the band’s potent sound and skilled musicianship.
Catch Honor Society live on the remaining North American Jonas Brothers dates and on their solo Full Moon Crazy Tour (occurring before and after select Jonas shows). Want to ask the guys a question? They will be broadcasting live from their Facebook page tomorrow (August 27th) at 5:00 PM PST.
Fashionably Late will be available on September 15th and can be pre-ordered here.
Also, I am interviewing the band. So if you have any questions write them in the comment section and I will see if I can work it into the interview.
I was excited to find out that Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner did a photo shoot together for Entertainment Weekly. It reminded me of the ones that Kristen and Robert Pattinsondid for Vanity Fairthat I can’t get enough of looking yet, even after all this time.
Am I impressed with this cover? Not really. It is way over photoshopped for me. Kristen is beautiful and she didn’t need to have to be covered up like that. I am hoping that the pictures inside will blow me away.
Also check out the behind the scenes footage. Taylor is so adorable (and that’s all I’ll say).
I saw this video this morning and couldn’t resist posting it. Taylor Lautner did a music video for the song, Apologize by One Republic. It’s rumored that it was for a school project. He looks so young there, I didn’t know that song was that old!
All I can think of is how much I want to squeeze his cheeks in this video!
